I only just discovered Jet a few months back by purchasing a JS400 (Hss Strat) loved it so much I just bought another (same different colour) so I would expect this model to be quiet good also. Btw, 3.5kgs is quite light for a Les Paul mate (7.7 lbs) Anything under 8lbs is light for a Les Paul
