HEY! I would like to thank you. Due to your videos you have inspired me to walk the world. I am just getting my adult passport and waiting for lockdown to be over. I would like to start walking next year. But for now my adventure has to be on hold because of England's lockdown restrictions. But as I said thank you, and I really mean it. From a random English man.
Hey ! Tom Turcich is one of my inspirations as well. And I have a pretty similar idea to yours. I am going to walk from my country (Lithuania) to India and hopefully China starting in summer 2022. Meanwhile I am going to do many smaller trips to prepare for this. How are you preparing ? We could reach out if you want btw
@@vytautasmaciulskis633 Hi, In my early teen years I started hiking, later I started and finished my Duke Of Edinburgh awards. I have always enjoyed walking/camping. I am now 18 and plan to start mid summer 2021 but due to covid-19 I might have to start later. But for physical preparation I run 5 miles every morning which is not far compered to walking the world but is a start I also go on weekend walks with full gear. About meeting up. Sure! I am looking for a few or even one person to walk the world with but I thinks its going to take a few years which is a long time for a person to leave there home. How about you? How have you prepared?
@@aunorthodoxwayoftravel2617 Until about a week ago I was planning to start my journey the next summer too. But after a discussion with my parents I have decided that I might need more preparation (to work next summer to gain more money, because now I have not a full thousand, do some more particularly hiking/camping trips and not only one day long walks). Btw surprisingly I am the same age as you. We could talk personally on instagram or whatsapp etc. If you want
@@vytautasmaciulskis633 Sure, I just made a new Instagram which I totally understand is untrustworthy. But its Steven_unorthodox. I will talk to you on there my friend and hope we can make a adventure together someday.
This is probably one of your most enjoyable video to this date, you did a great job documenting the trip and telling the story of your day :) especially those third person view shots, I appreciate that you took the time to set them up
18 miles / 30 km walk a day.. it reminds me about the foot soldiers that have to walk to battles in ancient time.. carrying huge loads on their back.. i cant even walk 5 km a day carrying nothing haha..
