Kevin shaking waiting to play was how I felt when the game was announced at the awards. Also they need to get RT to play left for dead 2 seeing how he said hes never played
Yeah, it's all fun and games, friends yell at each other, but people have emotions lol. Being singled out and screamed out for like 15 minutes is going to cause a lot of stress in the average person, and stress is literally physically unhealthy. So yeah, let's forgive Daithi if he deserves it, but let's not perpetuate what very well could be a straight negative social dynamic that's just been somewhat normalized. It's also specifically angering in this case because it's Kevin, and he's obviously such a genuinely kind and good-natured person who is proportionately sensitive, and you could see it was really starting to get to him. Made me wanna punch Daithi in the face. In conclusion, forgiveness to Daithi if he deserves it, but get your head out of your ass dude, because it's just not okay to be like that. That your friends can handle it and make something positive out of it because they're good people doesn't make it okay. I honestly think to the extent we make light of and with people who are like Daithi, it's more of a coping mechanism to deal with the fact that someone we like for many reasons is also a genuine asshole sometimes. P.S. Love you Kevin, I know you're okay, and you're too diplomatic to express anything like this openly, so I'm doing it for you. Let's all just be nicer!
Update on my opinion: I don't dislike Daithi, and I think most of his outbursts are mostly appreciated by the others and the viewers. But I feel like he went too far here, especially when "imitating" Kevin. I think things like that genuinely can hit a nerve and from personal experience things like that tends to mute your mood for a little while. I want to remind everyone that when you're playing a game you're playing a GAME. Try to have fun and not take out your anger on others. Sometimes self reflection is extremely important.

@@Tigal understandable I’m just saying what I said because when people are stress they have more anger and can be a lot ruder, and I love Kevin more but daithi was very stress and him and the lots of the vanoss crew take games very serious
the thing about that part everyone is upset of (inc me) was that when dan and daithi were saying they were killing a lot even when they were down i think it was also bc kevin does simultaneously shoot to the ones near them thus assisting their kills and then back at the lower deck so that more mobs dont get to where the down lads are and thats why i think them shouting at kevin and just gloating their kills/contribution leaves a bad taste. I know they're close but like kevin was excited to play this and hasn't sabotaged on purpose throughout even before that.
i know them lads get heatedly immersed in the games, i know kevin is known to fck around but they should already know when kevin would mess it and i think its not in kevin's mind to sabotage something that might actually take more tries even when played srsly. I do know they talk other than when they play and they're all good.
i think the people in the comments aren't taking this into perspective. i really dont think anyone was in the wrong. i do think daithi got too heated but he got that way in raft too. daithi is used to kevin messing around and in his context the game wasnt providing any feedback that kevin was helping even when he was. watching dans stream it was genuinely hard to discern whether kevin was helping. the game was mostly at fault and daithi said he'd watch the vod and when he did he most likely apologized hes a reasonable man. good on jack for standing up for kevin and providing that context and good on dan for figuring out the problem and dissolving the situation.
I didn't even know this game was being made omg it looks awesome. I love the Left for Dead games and this looks like it has everything I loved with new things I'm going to love. The guns look super satisfying to play with too.
I cant believe that the he was actually firing the mini gun after looking at this. Since in Rt stream all his shots did nothing since it did not render.
he realized he wouldn’t make it but jack would, so he threw the molotov to fend off the zombies near jack. that’s some bingbong from inside out sacrifice moment. this is my titanic movie.
What is wrong with Daithi? He’s really pissing me off with all of the Irish Lads streams lately, all screaming and being toxic. Thank you, Jack, for defending Kev
If you're actually curious about why nogla is more irrritable than normal when he streams with the irish lads, it's becuase on top of dealing with his kid, he has to wake up very early to be able to play with him. Obviously he was still an asshole ere, even his own video makes sure to explicitly clear Kevin's name (ex: zooms ins to prove that kevin was shooting when daithi says he's not, inclusion of jack defending kevin and calling out nogla, etc.), but considering he's one of Kevin's oldest friends, we should cut him a bit of slack.
Daithi’s screaming triggered my anxiety and PTSD, I wanted to rewatch this stream but I probably won’t now, just like every other stream where he’s being such a toxic and immature person. I’m really glad Kevin stood his ground and Jack defended him. I appreciate RT’s apology. I want to like Daithi, but at this point, he just reminds me of my abusive family members who think if you scream louder, you’re right.
I get this struck a nerve, but c'mon: raging in a video game is not a basis for sweeping judgement's on someone's character. It doesn't help Kevin at all by shit talking one of his oldest friends. it's one thing to defend kevin, that's totally understandable. there's nothing wrong with calling nogla out either, even his (nogla's) own video's editing clearly shows he's in the wrong, and it explicitly includes jack defending nogla. All of that is okay, but it is actually fucked up to call a complete stranger's friend abusive because he was an asshole in a single gaming session.
@@beyondtrash1627 Do you even understand what PTSD and what triggers are? I said it reminds me of my abusive family members because that’s exactly what I meant. Loud, aggressive shouting triggers my PTSD. I never said Daithi was a bad person nor did I say he was abusive. Don’t put words into my mouth. He can be toxic and immature (All of the lads can be), but I acknowledge he’s also fun to be around. I also think he’s a really cool dude. I enjoyed his moments in Raft when he was the most organized of the group and was getting shit done. I’ve seen Kevin play with him multiple times, I’ve seen him as a kind and helpful friend, and I’ve had fun watching those. But I don’t think I’m being unfair when I say it makes me anxious when he’s with them because there’s a possibility he might rage again and I don’t know when that will be. I don’t think I’m being unfair if I say “This isn’t for me.” Or “I need to distance myself from this.” Before I become catatonic due to flashbacks. This was in no way bashing Daithi. I didn’t shit talk him and there were no sweeping judgements there either. I’m simply calling it out because he can be too much and I’m expressing why I feel this way, I’m not the only one who thinks this. There have been moments he himself said “I won’t shout” which I appreciate because it means he knows and he tries. When I say I want to “like” Daithi, it’s the same with how I like “Callmekevin” or “KickthePj”. Both those youtubers are chill and I don’t have to worry about triggers.
@@beyondtrash1627 i think you gotta keep in mind that everyone's been through different shit in their lives, so saying 'this reminds me of abuse i've experienced,' doesn't immediately mean 'i think this person is abusive,' because everything is situational/circumstantial. i get suuuuper stressed out when people are yelling, and for me it isn't so much a result of abuse, but just because i'm incredibly sensitive to loud noises etc. so for me, I can contextualize that Daithi yelling at Kevin isn't that uncommon and probably bothers Kevin less than it bothers a lot of us watching, but it still stresses me out. I imagine it's similar for @Alyssa Hurst! And that's okay! You don't have to and definitely won't like everyone you come across in life, regardless of whether or not they "deserve" it- sometimes people just give you a bad vibe or trigger bad memories, etc. It doesn't mean they're a bad person and it doesn't mean you're a bad person for not feeling comfortable around them. Like. I realize this isn't my battle to fight or anything, but telling someone that the feelings they feel because of the shit they've been through is "fucked up" (especially when expressed as gently/politely as they expressed that) not only completely invalidates that person's feelings/experiences, but also just... seems kinda nasty? Which, again, is not to say you're a bad person or anything, it's just to say that reply came off really rude and inconsiderate and bothered me. well anyway, sorry for writing a novel and i hope y'all have a happy holiday season! :)
@@mackenziedesire7515 I see, I suppose I took "this reminds me of my abusive relationships" as saying "I believe this is an abusive relationship." I hope my comment didn't genuinely hurt someone, it was just that the idea of comparing a stranger's friend to an abuser based on one gaming session really irked me. @@beyondtrash1627 This has nothing to do with Kevin. Nogla is just toxic as all hell. Just because he is friends with Kevin doesn't mean he can be a piece of shit towards him.
Basically this stream ends at ~1:15:00 for me, Daithi keeps destroying streams for me the last few months, it's a bit jarring to watch since if a friend ever did that to me the first time already I'd say stfu and that would probably be the last time I play with them, wouldn't keep doing it as often as Kevin does (though at times Daithi is actually good, which is sad, since it's so overshadowed for when he's being an ass).
wait, RT? Are you sure you don't mean Daithi? Not to imply you don't know who's who, I just feel like even when Dan gets annoyed he tends to be very polite about it and/or apologetic, whereas Daithi has big "WHO THOUCHED THE THERMOSTAT" energy constantly
There's a ton of comments about people being uncomfortable with Daithi, but he's a genuinely caring dude. If you go by what any of the Irish Lads say Daithi's just being an extremely "Irish" dude where he goes off for a bit, calms down, and no one cares. Friendships come in all different flavors and sometimes friends insult each other more than they would anyone else as a kind of odd affection. People need to stop projecting themselves all over Kevin, he's not generally 'stereotypical internet-level sensitive, and that's a very good thing for a popular youtuber.
I agree. A lot of people just saw literally the fighting part in this vid and just decide "this man bad" even though during the first few minutes Daithi was pretty fun and sweet. Like that part about the asmr mics at the start? God I'd love to see them do that. Or when Daithi got Kevin the weapon he wanted and Kevin repays by healing Daithi even though he was at full health (cracks me up tbh). Or how he keeps being in a christmas spirit for a while. I understand how people can be scared of Daithi (some people can get panic attacks hearing people yell and Daithi definitely yells a lot lmao) and it's fine for them to avoid Daithi. But for the others, I don't think it's fair that they judged Daithi solely on his rage moments. And especially those people who thinks they're doing Kevin a "favour" by attacking Daithi aka Kevin's friend. God those people are awful.
Lovely stream, except for the elephant in the room, but I am never going to be able to watch this again, or go on these comments. I miss the TH-cam comments just being filled with Turg
You can still find them on the main channel, the stream viewers get to see everything, warts and all, stuff that would probably be cut from videos, I think that's why a lot of the comments are a bit defensive. We definitely do need more Turg around here tho for some chill positivity
these comments are not it; energies were high in this video and everyone got carried away, but it didnt mean that daithi was being rude to kev, he just got carried away. Lets not make this something it isnt x
man 80% of these comments are just people hating on daithi and projecting themselves onto Kevin. if you dont like him dont watch streams with him in it. its that simple. no one cares or needs to know why you hate him, keep It to yourself and move on. if there was a genuine problem, you can bet everything that they wouldn't be streaming with him or even be friends with him, considering they've been friends with him for awhile, I think they're okay.
Is TH-cam comment section and you is tell people not to comment? That's not how these things work. Let's just say it how it is: Nogla was an asshole. He could stand to chill a bit sometimes, but that's his character. Clearly Kevin didn't hold a grudge but that doesn't mean that he wasn't an asshole or that that sort of behavior should be considered acceptable or normalized. If you find it acceptable, good for you, others don't need to conform to your standards. People have a right to voice their opinion.
Personally, I've been very mixed with my views on Daithi, but he has his best and shining moments when he's not too into a game. You can see how much he cares when he doesn't let competition cloud his compassion. However, that doesn't mean he can't get too far and that doesn't mean the way he treats people in stream is acceptable. Although, I can understand the way he got angry because Kevin is known to troll and fuck around a lot. Just because the people around him can tolerate Daithi doesn't mean the rest of the populace can. That's the same for Kevin's usual chaotic attitude. We can boil it down in your logic: Can't take the criticisms thrown at Daithi? Don't read it. Take a page from your bible or you'll be a hypocrite. Doesn't sit well, right? Then let the people blow off some steam. Better here than towards Daithi himself.
I won’t even speak my piece on the Daithi situation in this video since plenty of other comments have already echoed my sentiments. I just wanted to point out that the lack of logical thinking behind these types of comments is absolutely bewildering - you’re literally making a comment with YOUR opinion telling other people not to comment THEIR opinions. If they don’t like him and want to comment about it, then fine. If you like him and want to comment about it, then fine; but don’t tell people not to share their opinions while simultaneously sharing yours, that’s insanely hypocritical.

Also, feels bad when Daithi always yells at Kevin, but Kevin was legit trying to support the party on that last mission (that part of the mission is freaking hard!!l). But the support/defense from Irish Lad Jack was nice to hear.
For some reason I really love how you called Jack "Irish Lad Jack" ahaha
What happened is that on their POV, the animation for him using the gun was broken, as the game is in alpha.
Jack heard the bullets and saw the carnage which the other 2 were unaware of.
Kevin is known for fucking around which could have led Nogla and Dan to think he was just fucking around again despite him actually being MVP in that moment.
Jack, technically, being the only one to witness his support, defended him and attempted to flip the script onto Nogla who was actually the main ingredient in the downfall because he stayed back.
Dan explained his POV and apologized for thinking he was fucking around then described what he thought was happening (him using the machete to demolosh their ankles lol).
Dan couldn't see that he was preventing more zombies from joining the cult attack.
"Irish Lad Jack" has the same energy as "Father Ted". it just sounds like a church title lol
28:44 his skills, are still there zxznoregretzxz
i love streams of my man kevin, because when he drinks water that reminds me to drink water
Nogla going off on Kevin like that put a bad taste in my mouth.... So rude and unnecessary. At least Jack stood up for him 🤍
yeah.
It was funny with Raft, part of the 'stuck together' attitude.
But this was just totally unnecessary.
@@SoulKiller15 I know. Like and at the start of the game if your friends are surprised you are being nice to them maybe you need to work on your personality.
Right. He needs to calm TF down on our Kevin.
Timestamp?
Thank you Jack :)
I wonder if he ever apologized to Kevin off stream lol.
Probably, Dathi is a nice guy. He screams and acts like a gobshite sometimes, but they are all friends. Kevin has actually been friends with Daithi longer than the others. Maybe he's just a masochist!
@@CraicDealer Jack and Dathi joined forces Years ago unless Dathi and Kevin where friends back in the Machinima Days
@@Rixxalight Yep, Daithi and Kevin go way back to the old machina days.
1:21:11 all I can say is thank you jack for sticking up for kev, I love daithi but this one was actually making me upset it’s like watching your little brother get bullied😅
You're doing great Kevin! keep it up
There's always that guy who either runs ahead or slows behind and then blames everyone else
Lol Kevin almost showed us how much of a video game God he is
Kevin, happy holidays and thanks for the great videos. Hope you are feeling better and get your boiler fixed soon.
When Kevin, Daithi and Jack get together there’s lots of laughs and yelling.
Kevin shaking waiting to play was how I felt when the game was announced at the awards. Also they need to get RT to play left for dead 2 seeing how he said hes never played
19:15 is when the game starts
Was 1:20:00 like a genuine fight because that made me really anxious
Now I'm tempted to jump forward to see haha. I'm going to assume...Daithi started it lol
@@Tigal you have to give him a break for this one he has a kid and he’s probably very stressed about it, and terrorizer said that him and daithi have to wake up at 6/7 in the morning to stream with the Irish lads
@@JohnDoe-qy5eu I understand, and I want to repeat that I don't view him in a bad light or that I think he's a a bad person. I just feel like this one instance went too far, and it didn't make him look very good.
@@Tigal understandable I’m just saying what I said because when people are stress they have more anger and can be a lot ruder, and I love Kevin more but daithi was very stress and him and the lots of the vanoss crew take games very serious
This was so much fun to watch, hope you guys will play more when the game comes out!
He got me I turned my volume to high then he blew my ears out lol
Same here haha
Legit choked from laughter when they started doing the Mickey Mouse impressions 🤣🤣🤣
Jack may as well be kevs big brother love the lad
the thing about that part everyone is upset of (inc me) was that when dan and daithi were saying they were killing a lot even when they were down i think it was also bc kevin does simultaneously shoot to the ones near them thus assisting their kills and then back at the lower deck so that more mobs dont get to where the down lads are and thats why i think them shouting at kevin and just gloating their kills/contribution leaves a bad taste.
Honestly Kevin and Seán best duo
i think the people in the comments aren't taking this into perspective. i really dont think anyone was in the wrong. i do think daithi got too heated but he got that way in raft too. daithi is used to kevin messing around and in his context the game wasnt providing any feedback that kevin was helping even when he was. watching dans stream it was genuinely hard to discern whether kevin was helping. the game was mostly at fault and daithi said he'd watch the vod and when he did he most likely apologized hes a reasonable man. good on jack for standing up for kevin and providing that context and good on dan for figuring out the problem and dissolving the situation.
1:21:33
Daithi - "and he what? he was probably shooting in the sky going 'oueeueuuugggghghh'"
That was one great tantrum
I didn't even know this game was being made omg it looks awesome. I love the Left for Dead games and this looks like it has everything I loved with new things I'm going to love. The guns look super satisfying to play with too.
I cant believe that the he was actually firing the mini gun after looking at this. Since in Rt stream all his shots did nothing since it did not render.
The ending was so satisfying
Did it bother just me when Kevin was having a melee as a secondary weapon while he had the combat knife that was supposed to replace melee?
I see real promise in this to relive the memories of L4D
kevin throwing that molotov behind jack as he jumps to the bridge was fucking fantastic. +1000pts for the dramatic effect
he realized he wouldn’t make it but jack would, so he threw the molotov to fend off the zombies near jack. that’s some bingbong from inside out sacrifice moment. this is my titanic movie.
Awh poor kevin looks so sad. Nogla is a bully, for real.. This made me actually sad D:
Thankyou jack for sticking up for him
I LOVE THE STREAMS KEV KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOUR DOING :^)
What is wrong with Daithi? He’s really pissing me off with all of the Irish Lads streams lately, all screaming and being toxic.
Thank you, Jack, for defending Kev
exactly i noticed it during raft too
If you're actually curious about why nogla is more irrritable than normal when he streams with the irish lads, it's becuase on top of dealing with his kid, he has to wake up very early to be able to play with him.
BeyondTrash Holy shit! He's a Dad now? I didn’t know that, congrats to him
I am genuinely more excited to play after watching you boys play.
1:57:57 kevin throw molotov to clear the zombies chasing jack. Bro, real movie moment
Lads join call at 11:30. They open the game at 15:43. Game starts at 19:08.
@@beyondtrash1627 hey man. did nogla delete his video? I swear I saw it last night
@@mackenziedesire7515 I see, I suppose I took "this reminds me of my abusive relationships" as saying "I believe this is an abusive relationship." I appreciate you respectfully explaining your understanding of the comment. I hope my comment didn't genuinely hurt someone, it was just that the idea of comparing a stranger's friend to an abuser based on one gaming session really irked me.
I see now, the comment was more a mulling of thoughts rather than a judgement of character. Again, I hope it did not too deeply offend anyone. I am sorry for leaving that comment without fully understanding what they were trying to say.

Fuck me we finally got a L4D3... 2020 man wtf
Did he check the VOD tho?
There's a ton of comments about people being uncomfortable with Daithi, but he's a genuinely caring dude. If you go by what any of the Irish Lads say Daithi's just being an extremely "Irish" dude where he goes off for a bit, calms down, and no one cares. Friendships come in all different flavors and sometimes friends insult each other more than they would anyone else as a kind of odd affection.
People need to stop projecting themselves all over Kevin, he's not generally 'stereotypical internet-level sensitive, and that's a very good thing for a popular youtuber.
I feel like more people should see this
Is Kevin gonna play some more Cyberpunk 2077?
these comments are not it; energies were high in this video and everyone got carried away, but it didnt mean that daithi was being rude to kev, he just got carried away.
