If they now let Lewandowski go it will be seen as an example for other players who want to leave on a whim because their team did not do well in the past couple of weeks/months. Also Bayern has no direct replacement for a striker such as Lewandowski which is "surprisingly" not easy to find. 2.For Lewandowskis side ofc he won everything he can with Bayern Munich and is looking for a new challenge which is Barca for him.
