Evelyn Hart chose a career that demanded complete dedication, and she happily gave everything to it, her health, her youth, her heart, and her soul. Dance was Hart's life for nearly 40 years. She became internationally famous as a ballerina, but home was Winnipeg, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet nurtured her talent, and she in turn brought the company attention it might never have had. Three weeks ago, Hart left. Arts reporter Barbara Brunzell was with Hart as she went through the painful process of severing the tie.
