BIRDS of the YUCATAN PENINSULA

Fantastic Bird-watching in and around the Riviera Maya.
The Yucatan Peninsula is home to around 550 species of birds. The most easy endemic bird species to see are Yucatan Jay, Yucatan Woodpecker, Orange Oriole, Black Catbird.... There is a lot of coast, mangroves, riparian forest, semi-deciduous forest....all great places to find many different species.
