Heard of this band for the first time a few weeks ago and couldn't get over how good "Human" is... I've worked through all of the albums now, and there isn't a single song I don't like. This is 🔥

fuck gun ctonrol, it results in more violent crime with or without guns. look at chicago and detroit, they have very strict gun laws yet they have the highest amounts of gun crime in the entire country. see any correlation there?
Great song, but the whole political message is a big turn off. Very big way to alienate your audience. Again.. exceptional song, but the lyrical content almost intentionally paints those that support the second amendment as insane psychopaths that shoot up schools.
A lot of musicians write music that is politically motivated. It attracts some and alienates others, that's how it goes. Annisokay is a German band, and as someone that has travelled abroad multiple times, I've spoken with a number of foreigners who don't understand American firearm policy (and think we're crazy) because firearms are sensibly regulated in their democratic countries and they believe it's made for a safer society.
I agree. Its fuckin lame tbh. I'm not even a gun owner or supporter. I just think the lyrics sounds cringe af. The chorus sounds really dumb. And I really love this band. Just my opinion, not a big fan of the lyrics for this one.
Nebula_ what I find funny is it’s Germans Germans are writing songs about American issues! And getting the point across enough to upset people When they don’t even live here
@@wendtils yeah. I'm german and due to the nature of media we only know things of the US that the media wants us to know, so yeah, many people here want to forbid arms in the US or regulate it like we do here. I would agree with that, but the problem is that if guns are illegal, that won't stop people who are killing others, which is illegal anyway, but with the difference of the people which are attacked having no protection. To avoid this protectionlessnes the US has to either make the polices effiency higher or try to control the black market, which both sound easy, but aren't. I can't really tell if americans are really so obsessed with weapons. I cant tell if the weaponry laws' looseness leads into a high amount mass shootings in the US. But I know that humans shouldn't need gjns to shoot other humans anyway.
Get over it. I'm a gun-owning American and I still enjoy the song. Musicians are entitled to write political songs and they're smart enough to make their own decisions on whether or not they give a shit if it alienates fans.

Killed this album. All the tracks are dope. Thank you, guys
In a rundown store at the edge of town
They sold a gun called Columbine
Called Columbine
It's been a long long time since I held a gun
It's been a long time since the West was won
Since the West was won
But I need protection
From people like me
It becomes an infection
Becomes a disease
It's been a long time since I held a gun
To the head of a man in the name of love
It's been a long time since a bullet flew
From the laws that were passed
By the powers that be
It's the same old store where they proudly sold
The gun that shot John Lennon down
Shot Lennon down
It's the same old news when the kids that go
Off to school don't make it home
Don't make it home
But I need protection
From people like me
It becomes an infection
Becomes a disease
It's been a long time since I held a gun
To the head of a man in the name of love
It's been a long time since a bullet flew
From the laws that were passed
By the powers that be
In the land of the free
In the land of the free
You could go fully automatic - give me all that cash
You could go fully automatic - give me all that cash
You could go fully automatic - give me all that cash
Fully automatic
As an American, this is my right
As an American, this is my right
This is my right
It's been a long time since I held a gun
It's been a long long time since the West was won
It's been a long time since I held a gun
To the head of a man in the name of love
It's been a long time since a bullet flew
From the laws that were passed
By the powers that be
Ricky Smart the only thing they could have added to make this song better was a jfk reference

Годнотень!
How come the beginning giving me hardcore Korn vibes?😂
🙌🙌🙌🙌
Охеренная тема, прям бодрит.
This has gotta be the new gun control anthem. Fuvk yeah this song alone instantly made me a fan also kudos for whoever put the lyrics👍👍
Great song although I don't agree with gun control.

@@CardinalTester8Cardinaltester8 Same for NYC. It is a little counterintuitive but people need to realize that more guns does not equal more crime
this has some heavy korn vibes
I was thinking the exact same shit
I don't think if this is ironic
They were russians but in the lyrics as an american
theyre german tho
@@CardinalTester8Cardinaltester8 oh i see
