The Buried Blade Of B​ö​rhed // Underwater Cartographers

Many moons ago a blade was crafted by a legendary blacksmith named Börhed. For millennia the blade has gone from hand to hand switching masters as they fell in the battle field. The blade is cursed, they used to say, for its current wielder would always perish. But the blade remained sharp, even through centuries of battle. It was the blade that lived alone, the blade that could find no-one. The blade though, was searching for its proper wielder. He who was meant to hold the blade in battle would be invincible, indefensible, indestructible.
Many more years would continue to pass. The blade would always fail its owner at the most crucial moment. The prophecy of the one true wielder had yet to come true. After one bloody battle the blade was lost somewhere in the Great North....buried they say.....
Now that the blade has been lost for an untraceable amount of time, people began to forget about the blade. It became merely a specter of a past age, an age marred by war and brutality amongst men. There was a period of peace among men....but there is no money in peace. The drums of war slowly began to echo once again. The rumors of the blade began to resurface....as the sun shines in Palookaville, as a young swordsman named Tjørk Goulash begins his journey.....
