The Latvian Song and Dance Celebration 2018 was the culmination of the centenary of Latvia's statehood, and this video created by Latvian National Centre for Culture in cooperation with Latvian Television marks the transition to the next Song and Dance Celebration in 2023, the 150th anniversary of the tradition.

Lockdown in Latvia temporarily in 2020 and 2021. And "thanks" to a health minister in Germany who seems constantly unfocused and contradicts himself, we are probably the only country in Europe that has been forced to wear a mask indefinitely in local and long-distance public transport under the severest penalties for years. Free decisions are forbidden!
