After yrs of seeking help without any results, listening to Dr. Gabor gives me hope that I might heal one day.

My heart is involved as well. I never felt anyone professional or parental cared at all. And now he seems to come from a new place of responsibility as a professional caring for others in the exact way that they need without trying to take advantage.

Thank goodness we don't have to invent the part of "the wheel" that Gabor has done for us. It would take us a lot longer. We actually have some essential precepts to work with to reconstruct what happened to us before and is happening to us now.

The trauma is in the freezing of our response in the body. I did a major disconnect from myself and my sense of my identity in this freezing activity. Now I have so much to sort out just to know who I am! Thank you, Dr. Mate. I listened to this a year ago but did not pick this up the way I have listening to this today. I am realizing I have been waiting for this kind of guidance for a long time..

My mother was depressed, ten children. My father successful, alcoholic, coercive NPD. Parentified, emotionally incested...I helped raise my 5 younger siblings. I excelled in school, gifted, straight A's, writing/art awards, 4-H blue ribbons, president of 8th grade. Wrote the class prophecies. Read class prophecies- Awards in H.S speech, College Art awards. Simultaneously, battled eating disorders, plastic surgery and although resilience and able to rebound- things got tricky & i never could sit still long enough to fully enjoy what I've been capable of achieving. Stumbling on family criticism- never allowing myself room for normal mistakes and imperfections. The aftermath- putting together the story like a million piece puzzle.

Everyone needs to understand that after a number of years of therapy sessions , these states can heal! Staying stuck on these channels is only beneficial for financial exploitation n greed. Unless one lives with a psychopath f n sis . I do. Thx.

I am curious to know if the epigenetic evidence passes through 7 generations? That would be interesting to me from the spirit-science connection currently seemingly ignored by being sciences and religions (religious terminology: the sins of the father....seven generations...) Thanks for any input !

It's not a big leap to say that our social heirarchy actually depends on trauma, and various responses - hence the shaming of addictive behaviours. To have an inequitable social heirarchy you need to have a proportion of the population suffering from trauma.

It needs it dysfunctional from putting capitalism and money first, having no culture, no identity, no value, no communalisn, no we love only self love, which is an island that destroys.
