The reaction is real. Its hard to fake the crying and awkward reaction wether to celebrate or be sad after hearing their name because some members might not be part of their group to debut. There might be a difference in the timeline of this announcement and the color of the hair of Haram will tell us.

Well… I kinda found out about the group because of the whole 5 members thing and after this video came out my sibling tried to introduce me to the group.. he was like he’s 100% sure they knew 7 was debuting based on the fact that they couldn’t have used 2 days or a week to prepare for recording and release a predebut song & that a lot wasn’t adding up among other reasons.. but, that I should check them out cos of their talent regardless… I’ll wait till the debut to decide though cos I care more about the talent and if their song is the type of song I enjoy listening to
@@LFNZE It doesn't bother me that he has a different opinion. The point of watching people to react to content you like isn't to see people have the same reaction as you. It's to see the ways in which they differ. Maybe that opinion is strong enough to sway you to their thinking and maybe it starts a conversation. It can be fun when they agree but they certainly don't have too.

I believe YG was thinking of 5 members, but those believes changed when seeing all 7 members together doing so well. So the plan was to show us all the 7 members and saying only 5 would debut and then see how people would react. If people would react ok with 5 members I think the original plan would be executed. But people wanted them all, confirming the believes of YG for a 7 members group. The girls didn't know before us.

Sure, it was a marketing strategy, but how do you arrive from that premise at "they already knew in this video, that they will debut?" That doesn't make any sense. No, they didn't! This is their genuine reaction. Yes, when YG started the marketing, the 7-member debut was decided. But when they filmed this reaction (spoiler: a few months ago), the members didn't know yet (same with the staff in the room). Maybe the girls hoped for a 7-member debut (as most fans hoped for), but they weren't sure and officially they were told until then, it will be 5 members (or isn't decided yet). They learned it when watching the announcement. Of course YG wanted their real reactions (tension, surprise and relieve), as YG wanted our real reactions. That's the whole reason, this was filmed.
Having been into K-pop since 1996, I have watched a lot of groups go through debut (spelling edit) processes. They vary, but YG has a reputation for doing things his way and not really worrying about what the fans think. He’s become somewhat infamous for it. So while a lot of this was indeed marketing, I believe his decision process was relatively accurate. But the fact that these girls did not know for certain until they watched this is completely real. I doubt their acting is quite that good yet. Asa held on really well until he said they all made it, and then her emotions finally burst out and she started sobbing. Very unlike her from what we’ve seen.

the emphasis of the last evaluation episodes were meant to create publicity and exposure of their talents, every company wants to promote their artists, that's known, but Aaron watching this whole BABYMONSTER thing mockingly as if they shouldn't publicise as if it's a crime and were faking it for publicity, bro don't know what's your issue with YG artists, but just stop that hindering your reactions to the point you think they maybe faking it, I don't know how many of you could see, but he watched all of these mockingly, the survival reality shows are meant to do that and he knows that! Smiling mockingly as if he's above them, he thinks stanning SM gives him the opportunity to mock YG when BLACKPINK literally put him on the K-pop journey and later started to not like BLACKPINK's music who produce literally the best music in all of K-pop and expanded k-pop
If you see his reactions, he reacts to all YG artists "mockingly". He watched all of Babymonster mockingly from the first video saying "they have filtered the live", even if it's true, that's okay, but he keeps emphasizing the same thing again and again, and while evaluations episodes he kept saying "publicity" the whole damn time mockingly, the whole "honest reaction" is contradictory to what he does in the reaction! Everyone knows that this survival show is meant for exposure and promotion, still he couldn't shut up about it all the while! This Babymonster reactions were "mocking" reactions for him not "honest reactions"

I think all these, including the YG announcement video is likely filmed WAY before all this. If you observe the Last Eval episode 1 and the announcement, you’ll see so,e scenes from the later episodes and even other videos.
For the Dream video, just change the pitch of the song or introduce some additional sounds like bubbles bursting and try up,oaring again, it might work.

bruh you really straight up came to your conclusion that all girls were just lying and faking their reactions. bold statement, did not like it one bit. their reaction was genuine. and if you’ve known YG for long, you’d know that they won’t really care to tell the girls beforehand that they’ll actually get to debut and it’s all for show. no, YG does not tell their artists anything.
