@@Trixeena-4a I still have assumption that they are either dolls(cuz in trailer for example we can't see eyes of the guy who shows finger puppets to Mike, it looks to me like Burratino russian cartoon, where one fat baron uses human-like dolls in circus to gain money, but they were still alive and had feelings) nor just characters from diaries. Orpheus and Alice are main alive characters without any kinds of secrets, we see them as ordinary people in present time like. Maybe that's why we see survivors as dolls, they are all needed for unknown their storyline now and after they are found as distraught? creatures they loose their secret form(doll) to story. Maybe it's how detectives in idv imaginations see them to not sympathize early? Idk, or on the contrary they just imagine them being good and innocent by being looking like dolls those are poor and can't do anything bad.
