I legit just heard of this game, like right now, from you. I think there was a lack of Marketing because it seems fun but I've never heard of it until now.
50/50, they made a huge colab with a lot of popular streamers doing an entire tournament and went pretty well. They only started to lose players after the first month. Still don't know why, the game is awesome 😢
@@meltatron9794 the net was kinda ruined after an update, and this game does not work with any amount of lag. fortunately they fixed it up, but it didn't come back.

I had a BLAST with this game. But the devs eventually decided to call it off due to low player base... which was a shame this game was amazing.

Insanely good game, and still has a dedicated but small community. Just make sure to get connected to the community if you are a new player, they can help you get into the game which can be hard to do on your own.

I love this game so much and honestly I think the saddest thing for me was that my friends and I were so willing to put money into the game for the quality skins they were making but they just did NOT come out fast enough. It took so long for something like dream Era to come out and by that point they sunset the game so it wasn't even worth buying the skin. Over a year since the announcement and my Finii is just getting her first skin. I tried out the Byte Breakers playtest and it just didn't have the spice and excitement that Omega Strikers could hit you with. Hoping that they come back to the game at some point.
I really love this game and still do but none of my friends want to play it with me. You gotta have a team of friends for it to be enjoyable.

Awesome video, seen the link for it in the official Discord and am glad I decided to watch it.
I've recently returned to the game myself after abandoning it as soon as they said they'd not be producing content for it anymore and boy do I feel guilty.
The game is PHENOMENAL and everybody that watches this video or reads this comment needs to give the game a go. It's got a steep enough learning curve but words cannot describe how good it feels to be in a really tense and close match.
Thanks for the awesome video on this game that is most likely at some point going to dwindle away into nothing, all we can hope for is an Edgerunners situation where we get a TRIGGER anime to save the game lol.

There is much more depth than i would expect from this game and the music music themes slap. I dont like multiplayer games but maybe ill give it a shot.

but Inazuma Eleven, the soccer anime u used a clip of in the beginning to demonstrate a comically anime-superpowered idea of sports that OS can emulate, is already a longrunning game series and has a game coming out w/ a free demo on everything rn and it's looking suuuper promising as well

@@xance8515 100% it’s an absolute blast but I highly recommend watching some guides and or joining the discord as it has a massive learning curve. Be patient with yourself and take each match as a learning experience and you will love it 💜

For me the price of the fighters was a major hurdle, I put around 12h into the game and would have easily spend another 20h if I could have tried the rest of the cast. Also the menu-ing felt really clunky and un-intuitive.
I think restricting the access to characters was a major mistake and seeing as they unlock with ps+ the developers somewhat acknowledged the problem.
I know the system worked well enough for league but it isn't 2009 anymore there is a lot more competition and barriers to entry should be as small as possible.

I want to play this game but the returning player experience has been terrible. I haven’t played for many months and I’m still being put in higher-caliber NORMS lobbies and my teammates are clearly expecting me to do things I’m too rusty to do consistently. I guess there aren’t enough middling players so I’m stuck playing with the people who haven’t stopped playing and it makes it too difficult to get back into the game and have fun. Either that or there’s not enough decay for a long time away.

nah, let it die. the community killed it. this game gets an award for having the worst and most toxic community *ever*. characters and maps are super unbalanced.
It's a meh title for me, I like Mario Strikers, but I don't really think a 3vs3 air hockey fighting game is really what I need.
If it was just a fighter I could just play a game that is a top-down Arena fighter and win by well fighting, and not because an arbitrary ball was pushed into my goal that I couldn't put much attention to.
Arena top down fighters, we got the basically dead game of Battlerite which has a player count of between 50 to 130
I just listened to the voice and how you talk and already understood this wasn't a channel for me. I wish you luck all the same.
