I really appreciate his explanations of fatherhood in the Catholic tradition. I'm learning I've been fed so much misinformation about the Catholic church. I'm non-denominational christian, but find myself drawn more and more to the Catholic church the more I learn The Word. This conversation furthers that. ❤

My late sister and brother played obsessively with a ouija board as children back in 1964. My brother became possessed and taken away to a mental hospital.
My sister was plagued throughout her life with demonic house infestations.. I personally witnessed flying objects in her house. Even Ed and Lorraine Warren came. A full Catholic house exorcism was done in 1995 - things died down dramatically, but it never left.
One day in 2003 I visited her. I was talking with her and her husband at the kitchen table when I felt a need to pray for them.
I excused myself from the table, saying I was tired and was going to lay down on the couch for a nap. No one knew of my intention to pray for them.
I prayed silently and mentally. As soon as I started the Our Father, a large wall hanging picture flew off the wall and crash landed at the opposite corner of the room. The crash was loud. My sister thought I had fallen down the stairs.
This is proof positive of a demonic presence. It reacts negatively to prayer as well as holy water and sacramentaks. I ignored the parlor trick and finished my prayers.

God bless. You did very well, to keep praying and not being impressed by the demons. Ive been through and seen many things also. I only got baptized at 22. I never touched ouija it freaked me out. I already saw deceased people either way. Now 12 years after Baptism i can tell you i have a lot less weird occurences and im being helped with liberation prayers. I dwelt on some new age and divination practices before and after Baptism so i still suffer consequences...i also have a serious auto immune disease but i offer everything up for the conversion of sinners and the souls in purgatory. Been praying for 3 years for my parents conversion...finally my mom wants to get baptized, my dad also wants to confess and both want to get married in the Church. May God be praised forever. I am also thankful to the Virgin Mary because i asked for it so many times in the Rosary

In my country we do not have an Ouija Board, we used to write the letters and numbers in small piece of papers, lay them in a circle, put a paper written Yes and another with No right in the center with a glass cup (bottom up) inside the circle. Everybody would pray together out loud The Our Father and The Hail Mary. Then, everybody would slighty place their index finger on the top of the cup. We would keep asking "Is there anyone there?" Of course, there are always jokes of people pushing or pulling the cup, lol. This is played mostly by teenagers. Sometimes we would do it for hours and nothing really happened, sometimes when the cup moved an inch and everybody knew that no one really did it on purpose, everyone would scream and run, lmao.
So, like many teenagers, my brother, 2 cousins and I decided to play at midnight just with candles lit, lol, back in 1998. For a couple of hours a lot of jokes and nothing happened until it did. It was already after 2am and we were all tired and sleepy and tired of praying all the time and asking if there was anyone there. We gave it another try and all of us felt the cup move a tiny tiny bit as if someone had put too much pressure on it. But we all looked at each other and said "not me." I started to shake, lol. Then we asked again and this time the cup went straight to the YES paper very fast. We all screamed and my brother started crying. All of us wanted to remove the finger from the cup but people say you can't or else. We were scared sh*t. We asked who are you and it circled around picking the letters YOU. We didn't want to play anymore and we started praying out loud and the cup started to circle very, very fast. Even me, who was 17 at the time, started to cry. After a couple of minutes, the more we prayed it the more it started to slow down and, eventually, went back to the middle of the circle and stopped. We asked the question 3x, no movement at all, so we removed our fingers and ran to the room and we slept all together, lol.
The next morning, mom woke us up shouting at us, asking what the hell did we do last night. We explained and she was furious, she is Catholic. We said it was okay because we prayed and it went away. She said "let's check" and she forced all of us to do it all again but this time the cup moved right after the first time we asked if there was anyone there. We looked frightened at my mom. She called us stupid teenagers and that it has stayed in the house. Out of nowhere it spelled: "CORRECT NOT GOING AWAY EVER". We all started to cry and mom told us that everything would be okay. She got the bible and started praying a lot of different prayers. The cup went crazy going round and round in circles very very fast nonstop and us along with it since we could not take our fingers from it. It lasted for about 10min or so until it started to slow down and stopped. Mom kept asking if there was anyone there and that it should not lie in face of the holy bible. A few minutes with no movement she said it was okay to remove our fingers from the cup which we did as fast as we could and to NEVER do this again, EVER.
But since it "worked" I did it many times again with some friends but not at my place, of course. I know that maybe 5 years later one of those friends of mine %¨$# himself, he was depressed, they said. Another gave into heavy dr*gs and has been in and out of rehabilitation centers. He claims to see ghosts and stuff (maybe because of the things he takes? who knows...) And I.... I developed socialphobia and GAD (generalizzed anxiety disorder.) I am 42 years old now and still in treatment but I think it's just who I am. The others are "normal."

I was an atheist and was saved when I called out to God when I was under a severe demonic attack. For the first time ever, I was plucked right out of that dimension and I awoke. I became a believer that night, especially after I opened my (boyfriend at the time, husband now) boyfriends Bible to a random page and the first thing that I read was "You cannot have two masters". I know that the passage was referencing money vs the Lord. However, the Bible is the Living Word, it speaks to us to deliver a message that we need. I read it in that moment and I knew that God was trying to tell me "Stop fence sitting. Choose. Me or the Devil." And I chose God.
I've also met Archangel Michael when I was under the worst attack of my life. It was an amazing experience, though I hope to ever experience it again.

So glad You shared this story because I had a VERY similar experience happened to me in 2013. I went to a gay club to accompany my friend and to just have fun. I started feeling nauseous and my stomach started to hurt. Right away I just instinctively knew that this place was spiritually corrupt and needed to get out. I needed to go outside for some air. Funny thing is back in 2008 I went to another Gay club to accompany some gay friends and I was fine and didn't have the same reaction as the second time. I just had fun. The only difference I can think of is I was going more to church and learning my faith during the second time I went to the club. I believe the Holy spirit and your spiritual life makes you feel and see things that you might be otherwise blinded by due to wordly things and energies.
And not to be mean but anytime I'm around someone whose gay, the energy feels dirty. Even though I mind my business and its not up to me to judge, I have this off feeling about them.

At 28:00 talking about suicide as a Demonic end-game... is very interesting... and true.
I am a law enforcement chaplain (not clergy like the military, more like a layperson-peer-support side- gig as a law enforcement officer myself). I am tasked with instructing a suicide prevention course for my guys because our agency has had quite a few suicides recently.
I am also a celibate traditional catholic woman (and older-- at 45) whom Our Lord has not chosen for the married life, but has chosen me for this unique "ministry" role (I believe I'm probably the only Catholic woman serving as both an active law enforcement officer and chaplain in the nation -- kinda weird haha).
I feel very privileged and also on alert because even though the course material is secular in nature, the subject matter is very spiritual, as Fr. Ambrose says. I tread lightly and trust that Our Lord is guiding me and protecting me as I am active on the front lines of this spiritual war....
I humbly ask for prayers to keep me and my partners protected...and that somehow we can turn this bus around and get folks back to Christ.

As a Catholic that is a trained clinician and hypnotherapist I use my faith to help others reach a state of clarity and healing that is not meant to open any one to spiritual harm but rather to seek God’s healing. There are clinicians that do it differently but as mind, body, and soul it’s important to carefully use the skills you are taught. It’s a therapeutic tool that creates relaxation when someone is too anxious to explore emotional pain.

I became a christian in march, aftr a deep depression i was delivered from. I was opressed by unaliving thoughts that wherent in my usual inner monologue.
It was more of "you should, you ought to, instead of i want to, i should.."
Also after asking god/jesus for help and got delivered, i also dreamt seeing myself in depressive episodes earlier in my life, with this thick black smoke around my head.
When i woke up i understood that my episodes wherent just psyciatry and altered brain chemicals. I joined a bible group for men, and been to some sermons in a pentecostal church an hour away from me.
When starting to go there, i started getting car trouble, and had to have my car fixed in two repairs. And ordering parts took a long time, so i feel somethjng made my car brake down so i couldnt join the church sermons.

As a Protestant, I’m very encouraged by his words. I loved how he bound the Catholics and the Protestants together in his encouragement. He didn’t ostracize us. I was pinned by a demon once. It tried to speak to me but I didn’t want to hear what it had to say. I cried out that “in the name of Jesus Christ release me” and it was gone in a blink. And the Lord gave me a peace that overcame me. I realized that just the NAME of Jesus Christ has POWER and I didn’t have to be afraid. I loved this Priest.

Where does it say that the Apostles "put away their wives and families"? God gave us marriage as a covenant. Just because they aren't mentioned doesn't mean they were abandoned...and there's no way God would demand that. Marriage is a Holy covenant. I'm not saying some aren't called to be eunuchs to instead devote their lives to the work of God (like Priests), but if we are the bride of Christ, what would that mean if He expected His followers to throw their Bride away!? He absolutely did not.

All my anxiety has gone totally I'm coming down off of heavy mess I've been on 30 years I have no withdrawal symptoms insomnia gone. I still have mocking laughter coming out of me in contemplative prayer. I'm so glad he said the eucharistic and confession. I'm going to church Sunday for the first time. I could cry how relieved I am about that. I'm scared to confess because the priests might be like she's mad and I'm not for the first time I'm free. I'm not even scared when I pull these evil faces and the mocking laughs come out if me in prayer. I read the bible now I do 3 hours of Apostle John Eckhardt demon routing prayers. Also the exorcist prayers. Its going slowly very slowly. I do get scared that it always have it though. Hey everyone! A protestant and I just have some questions. So in the Bible, the Lord said not to call anyone father, but God, so why do Catholics call priests “father?” Also, why do you pray to Mary and the other Saints when the Bible doesn’t say anything about praying to them. The Bible says to pray to God in the name of Jesus? I’m not being combative at all, I just need some insight. I’ve been watching more and more of the Catholic podcasts and have really been blessed in many ways, so if anybody can answer those questions for me, I sure would appreciate it. However, if we are true Believers, covered by the blood of Christ, we cannot be possessed. Oppressed, yes, possessed, no. The Holy Spirit lives in those who belong to Christ. I have a question... Like Fr.Ambrose Cristi was explaining how are lives should be like a light and not a bobble on a shelf I 100% agree. My question is what if it is the bobble on a shelf? Everything in my life is completely upside down and I feel like i am wondering in the desert or on a Rollercoaster ride that is the same all the time with different twist and turns and it doesn't stop. From jobs or (the lack their of), vehicles, friends, relationships (non- exsitent) family and my health has taken a major nose dive and I have lost 3 careers due to that alone etc. Nothing is working right but i believe 100% in my Lord and savior, had a demon that had taken up presence in a house we had rented it was booted but it just doesn't make since to me. I have prayed about it and asked if their was something I missed that I didn't get the first 4 thousandth time around, repented etc. How and why? I wanna be a light instead I feel like a burden. I am a single mom who wants to be a witness to my almost grown child who is now also " being targeted" per say and I do not know how to stop it or "fix it"! What do we do and why is it like this? I believe there has to be a reason. Good or bad.

They can bring back memories even if they don't know what we are thinking when they do so. Memories are things that happened. Both Angels and demons know those things and can flash them before us.
A woman, in our youth, had stolen half my pay for a summer job I sacrificed to do to help pay for my Catholic high school tuition. My patents struggled with twelve of us children, so I did all I could to help with costs.
I never knew my "friend" was the thief, nor ever would have suspected it.
I was involved doing a work for Our Blessed Mother, thirty years ago, for which I would receive little pay, but the work had an agreed on price. Any donations would defray that final price.
The woman previously mentioned gave me a check for $100. as a "donation". As she handed me the check I heard, in my right ear, " It's payback". Not knowing anything about her theft years before I whispered "Payback?"
Then I had a vision in my mind, brought to me by my Angel, of the exact moment the theft happened. I was truly shocked. I had not thought about the incident again since coming to the realization, asa young teenager, that the theft happened and I would just have to accept the loss.
The horrible thought came to me that this poor woman had held on to that guilt for twenty-nine years. Yet it wasn't truly "payback" because I still had to forfeit the $100. I just had to let it all go.
Without my Angel bringing that thought to my mind as a "televised" rerun, I would never have known who took my pay. I just had to forgive her and leave it all to the Lord.

I am no catholic, only Bible.
Jesus: John 14: 21 He who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who loves Me; and he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and will disclose Myself to him.” 22 Judas (not Iscariot) *said to Him, “Lord, what then has happened that You are going to disclose Yourself to us and not to the world?” 23 Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our abode with him. 24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me.
John 7: 37 Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. 38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’” 39 But this He spoke of the Spirit, whom those who believed in Him were to receive; for the Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
John 7: 15 The Jews then were astonished, saying, “How has this man become learned, having never been educated?” 16 So Jesus answered them and said, “My teaching is not Mine, but His who sent Me. 17 If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself. 18 He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory; but He who is seeking the glory of the One who sent Him, He is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
19 “Did not Moses give you the Law, and yet none of you carries out the Law? Why do you seek to kill Me?” 20 The crowd answered, “You have a demon! Who seeks to kill You?”

The enemy can be sneaky in that way and cause family tentions. My friend was fixated on praying the rosary so much that he missed his family priorities and his wife almost divorced him. He was eventually able to catch on to what was happening to his family. Ask yourself what would Jesus do in my position.. Jesus wanted us to be there for eachother and you missing out on someones life is harmful to them sometimes.
