These cards are stunning, Kathy. I regularly indulge in a Graphic 45 paperpack, but feel reluctant to cut into them, because they are so pretty 😁. Now, I feel encouraged to do just that. I will sure watch more of your tutorials. Hugs, Brigitte
Hooray, Brigitte! That just makes my day! Dig out those beautiful G45 papers, sharpen your scissors and have fun! The first cut is the hardest...but then it gets easier and easier. I'm so glad you found my channel! Welcome!
Whaaaaat? I have never seen a double gatefold card like that! I thought I had made a really pretty one but compared to yours it could be an old tuna sammich that somebody left sitting i the sun. Your fun fold cards are over the top gorgeous! You just outdid yourself. Thank you for sharing. I still can’t imagine how you came up with these beautiful ideas. I’m inspired 💕
Oh wow! Thank you for making my day with this enthusiastic response to these fun fold cards. I'm so glad to know you enjoyed the tutorial. And by the way, I love tuna sandwiches! LOL Happy crafting!

Have you got a time machine hidden in your cellar!!! It was so nice to learn a little about you Kathy. You never cease to inspire me - Thank you! Greetings from across the pond
Hi, June! I used to be Super Woman...but i have slowed waaaaaay down! I am happiest when I am playing with paper, so I make time for that in my schedule. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and these fun cards. Have fun making them, and thanks for making my day with this lovely comment!

Hello Carol from Bonnie Scotland! Thank you so much for your very kind words. I'm glad you found me, and look forward to sharing lots of ideas with you. Are you a fellow card maker?
kwclement Hello! Yes I've been making cards for around 20 years now. I'm about to make those in your video for upcoming birthdays. I also love making mixed media pieces like canvases, bottles, jars and plaques etc. I don't often leave comments, but your video was so inspirational and rather unique compared to others. Keep calm and Craft On! xx
WOW! Those cards are beautiful! I am new to making cards and. I have been feeling a little lost. You made it look so easy with Great instructions and suggestions... I will be subscribing and am looking forward to what you design in the future. Thank you

Hello, Elaine! Welcome! I'm honored to have you as a subscriber and look forward to getting to know you. Thanks for the lovely comment. Happy crafting!
Kathy, I recently been following your channel and love your gorgeous designs. Is there a tutorial for these? I see others commenting but can't find them.
Hi, Carol! So nice to hear from you! This video is the tutorial. I show you how to build the card bases, then you can use the finished cards as examples to help you decorate your cards. Happy crafting!
Over the top!! Delightful. I will start today. I do have one request, and perhaps it is not my place to say this but, could you show the finished card at the beginning? I find seeing the finished card helps me in the construction of the card and it does aid in following the instructions. Just a small request, Your work could me in a museum.
Thanks so much, Lynne! Makes me so happy to know how much you enjoyed the tutorial. I usually do show the finished project at the beginning of the video, but this time around, the cards had not been made yet! LOL Thanks for the great comment! Happy crafting!
It's been ages since I made these cards, and I'm not 100% sure I understand your question. But I think you are asking me about the layers on the card front. From what I can see in this photo, it looks as though I covered the front of the base completely with designer paper, then cropped the corners. The other layers you are seeing are from the fan folds that we attached to the front of the card base. It looks to me that I covered each section completely, then cropped the corners. I hope that helps, and I'm sorry I can't remember more exactly than that.
Ok, I think I know what you are asking now. It looks to me as though the base is fully covered, then the next layer is cut to leave a 1/4" margin all the way around the card. The remaining layers are 1/8" margins on all sides. Hope that helps! Happy crafting!
My high school French is rusty, Garo, but I think you are saying it is too bad that I separated the finished card from the tutorial? I'm sorry if that was confusing for you. Thanks for watching the tutorial and for taking the time to leave feedback.
Beautiful cards. Easiest instructions to follow . I am hooked and subscribed . Thankyou

Comparing the folds on the folio portion of the Fanfare - what sizes did you make each of the panels that are adhered to the foilio base?
It's been ages since I made these cards, and I'm not 100% sure I understand your question. But I think you are asking me about the layers on the card front. From what I can see in this photo, it looks as though I covered the front of the base completely with designer paper, then cropped the corners.
