The blower has awesome power. You need the 6 ah battery if youve got big leaf piles.

The hedge trimmer while heavy is still an excellent tool. Got all my trimming and string trimming on one battery. Tired of cords. And cutting them🙂

I'm looking at the Hedge clipper, my dealer suggested buying the 2.5 amp kit for the battery an charger. But try the 5 amp battery from the mower. We did that in his store, and yes the battery added 1 pound, but balanced 70% better. I'm thinking when the budget allows about getting another 5 amp battery. Hope this helps.

Can you PLEASE tell me if the 60 volt power head tool will accept the attachments I already own for my TORO gas power head?

They look like they would but I’m don’t know how they are keyed. Call toro customer service to confirm

@@EnthusiastsGarage Thank You for your prompt reply! More than I can say fir TORO! I've called them but cant get a person only the TORO bot. That directed me to local service centers. No answer. My TORO gas trimmer is only 3 yrs old and I own so many attachments (some still in the box) that I want to go battery with them, however I just may bite the bullet, sell what I can and choose another brand. Customer service is THE WORST! I really do appreciate your help however. Tks. also for your informative videos that help novices like myself :)💕

I had the same thought ... Toro has a 60 volt attachment capable trimmer, with the battery, charger, trimmer it sell for about $240 in NC. That's the way I went, same battery as the rest. Now, if you're like me and have some Ryobi or Craftsman, or Dewalt attachment (split boom trimmer plus) they all work with the Toro. I have the edger, tree pruner, hedge clipper, and brush (blade) cutter attachments, all work. My ned two things will be the chain saw an hedge clipper, then a second *attachment capable trimmer. But buy the kits to build up your batteries. I too plan to get the Toro #21357 self propelled 21" walk behind.

@@bradbarefoot2986 Wow, I can't believe someone has responded to my issue. Even TORO didn't help me so I Thank You very much!
JUST TO BE CLEAR, if I go ahead and purchase the bare tool battery power head, the attachments from my gas powered TORO trimmer should work? I've spent so much on the attachments, but as a senior I have difficulty starting the gas powered tool. For this reason I want to purchase the battery power head, charger and batteries. Nobody seems to have an answer!
So you are kind for responding. TKS SO MUCH!

Yeah they will work. When we had our store we sold both Toro an Ryobi. Guess who builds the gas models for Toro still today ? If you guess Ryobi, you're right. I'm thinking that Ryobi, or Ryobi's parent company is building the 60 volt units for Toro. My Ryobi fleet of attachments fits the 60volt attachment capable Toro trimmer. I'm making the change from a gas walk behind mower to the Toro #21357 21" 60 volt mower. If you too ever want to do that do what I'm doing today, only by the 60 volt kits (cheapest way for batteries an chargers) because the 2.5 amp battery is great to have for a backup for the mower. I'm got some friends that say the 2.5amp gives them about 25 minutes of mowing, if you've got 3 or 4 of the 60 volt hand held units ... you've got 3 or 4 2.5 amp batteries you can use in the mower. All of a sudden with the 5 amp battery that comes with the mower ... you've got about 3 hours of run time for the mower. If you get ready to look at a 60 volt mower I'll go into detail there about the #21357... one hint the "mower's wheels" the #21357's wheels offer less resistance, less resistance = more run time. One other thing to make batteries last for years ... be it Ryobi or Toro PLEASE let them cool overnight before charging ... got some 4amp Ryobi batteries that are over 10 years old !
