This is such a great original song. I know you watched a live version with just Tim & Austin. But really like this studio version & the video is really cute. I like that they have child actors portraying themselves as kids. And they made up a fictional story of how they all came together. It is very well done.

Things like this are always fun. I love seeing the silly side of groups like this. Sure, the super serious stuff is beautiful to listen to, and certainly has its place, but these fun little things are still great. The song behind the video was sweet, as well.

Really fun especially Austin's counter part, Rob's with the smile and sandwich, Chris' and Adam's brothers and Tim's cover guy so cute doing the bass. Lots of fun. I have watched Jacob Restituto doing well on his interviews. I think his first one was Tim's and he was nervous and kind of talked over Tim, but he took it well. So good at it now. You will enjoy it and can ask him questions about whatever you would like. He is a good singer and seems like a really nice guy.

When I saw the video for Avi's 'First Place I go' I instantly thought of this Home Free video. They were filmed 5 or 6 years apart so could have been done up since then.

The video parallels their origins story a tiny bit. The group was started by Chris Rupp and his brother Adam when they were in school in 2000…however they were in college. They have had numerous members over the years with Rob joining them in 2008. Tim toured with them in 2010 as a guest bass and joined the group permanently in January 2012. The band met Austin on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship; the Home Free guys were guest performers and Austin was a member of the ship’s entertainment cast. Austin was interested in a cappella music and let them know that if they ever had an opening he would love to join them. He first sang with Home Free in the fall of 2012 when their high tenor decided to leave the group; he joined full time in January 2013. And the group is named after a boat belonging to Chris’s and Adam’s uncle. This uncle gave them some financial support early on.
