thank you much info. in northern wisconsin, america I place the dried cold conditioned seeds in several sheets of dampened newspaper to sprout then plant the strips moistened and they have a headstart. the sprouts may even be nutritious as with many seed sprouts.

I’m so glad I found your video. I’ve wanted to know how to grow Pumpkins in USA. I brought some Jamaican Pumpkin seed back and planted a couple yeas ago , trial and error. They grew like crazy. I never knew the particulars. Now, only if I could get some more seeds to plant.

Hello Miss, I have an amazing pumpkin I saved since fall and today is Feb 23rd and I would like to cut it open save the seeds and plant them this year. How long do I have to wait for the seeds to dry and sit before I plant them? I just moved into a house and I have a backyard for once and I love growing plants and would very much like to grow pumpkins 😊

Interesting and informative delivery but somewhat disorganized. My suggestion is that you start with background information then progress to selection, planting to harvesting followed by consumption options/ benefits etc.
Something else that I noticed is the wild growth cultivation appearance of fields. And I wondered if that is deliberate.
Thanks for the effort being put into your research and for sharing with us. Keep pressing forward.

When the stem is dry that mean lock of water to the veins and that the vein or damage so nutrients stop going to the pumpkin so they stems become dry .

You said pumpkins are low in cholesterol. Pumpkins have zero cholesterol like all plant produce. Cholesterol comes only from meat. Second, you said the tool the man was using to plant the seed was a pitchfork. I suggest you double-check your info before you publish. That tool was not a pitchfork. That was a pick tool.
