I don't use Matt, but I love Yuffie's new gear. What I don't like is that they designed half the new ranking event around this Yuffie gear. You get a much higher score if you use physical earth instead of magical earth.
Thank you. I might pull on Yuffie since I miss an earth arcanum and skipped all banners for Matt. But I'm also missing a lightning arcanum - and I think we'll soon see new banners for that too. So I'm holding off till near the banner's end.
I pulled up to yuffies costume, saved crystals after that. Really wanted the earth arcanum and it solidifies her as a strong unit for elements I don't have on other characters (got the wind and earth arcanum on her now) and I use her with arctic star so she can buff herself and another units phys attack. That way she's a damage dealer, buffer and main unit for certain elements. I like to go for stuff that works in a lot of situations so phys attack buff can be applied to any unit, boost their damage for any element, just like aeriths sun umbrella works on phys and magic defense. That way they may not be the strongest but it leaves me more room to summon on other things instead of grabbing each individual element resist down weapon. Hoping to build Yuffie and that she ends up getting some good limited banners / strong stuff. I liked the costume and I definitely wish I had more crystals as I want the zack costume / weapon and the Matt one but right now I'll stick to covering my bases on damage and elements (which I should have done now anyway as I have all elements) then I can start building up the defensive and healing stuff more.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, after doing Leviathan EX 2 with Matt I can see how he is really becoming The Healer and Aerith is more like a really nice Hybrid DPS Healer, it’s like we have a burst healer that is really good because of the LBs VS sustain healing, and between the two I prefer the sustain and constancy of Matt!
Pulled on Yuffie cause I don't have Lucia, and Yuffie is my main Win DPS so I already have her built to a level where this does not feel like a waste. I can't pull on Matt, I think he is good enough with the free outfit and while this new one is good, I'ma be real, I wanted buff depuff extension for him rather than HP.
Love that! Yuffie is just so goooooood!! I’m tempted to build her after this banner but the investment would be huge so I rather save and be stuck with Lucia I think 😭

hey bro, my fairy tale is ob5 and mythril rod is ob6 (i used 2 select weapon vouchers on mythril rod to get it to ob6). and both weapons R abilities suck lol. aerith has been my healer since launch but the only costume i have for her is the beach summer........ im def feeling my account doesnt have enough healing for the hard content like bahamut and bahafrit, even shiva EX1 i cant beat right now. do you think i should switch healer to matt with this banner 🤔? i can probably only get his banner weapon to ob1 , but its R abilities are infinitely better than mythril rod and fairy tale....i also hesitate cuz i used 2 valuable select vouchers into mythril rod , so theres sunk cost 😂😂
Aaaah, that’s a very good question! Thanks for asking! I think it all depends on your primary healing weapon, if Prime Number >> Fairy Tale, then perhaps. Let me explain, if you go into this banner you still need to get a decent primary, and this one at OB1 is not better than your current Mythril Rod. So it all depends on how good is your Prime Number (or Centipede), if that is OB6 or more then yeah Fairy Tale OB 5 is really close to OB 6, and switching will give you a very good outfit, but you’d still be missing the secondaries (Guard stick / centipede / tranquilizer gun, one of these 3). The reason why I think sticking with Aerith might be better is because you have the healing limit breaks, and at some point we’ll get better Healing Arcanum / Mastery Outfits. I assume you have like 40k blue coins or so? If that’s the case then it’s another reason to save, Boost Heal is very good for whales or low spenders, but as F2P I think is better to save for Healing Arcanum / Mastery, because Boost Heal we can also get from the other secondaries. As a Whale, it’s a different paradigm because this outfit allows you to potentially remove 1 secondary and get Matt to do more DPS / Buff / Debuff In short: better save! It’s very risky! But that’s just my opinion, let me know what you end up doing! 🙌🏼

Matt outfit is what I wanted. Pulled and done. I use Matt as my healer more than Aerith. Aerith is leaning more towards a hybrid dps healer.

Yeah dude this manner was a awesome banner. I got Jeffy Hawkeye to OB 10 and I got mats syringe at OB 5
