#1 - This is so true. I left a very oppressive job without having another one in hand. I took the chance and pulled the plug once it became unbearable. I found another job within 3 months. My previous employers weren’t expecting this after tearing me down every single day. They thought they had control over my self esteem!! Wrong!!! I know my worth, I just don’t brag. They underestimated me and Karma served its purpose. 🙏👍🏻

Pile 2! This resonates! I come across a lot of jealousy on my path! My own mother is my biggest hater 😩 but I’m grateful to have the gifts I have in this lifetime and I love being me! Same... it really hits hard when both my parents are my biggest haters. It kindof legit makes me feel like this whole human experience is so banal. It is very banal. So stop looking at others and just do your things. I mean... it's deeper than I can explain but yeah... parents jealous of their kids man... that's just b0llshit at this point. Like for what? Pile 2, my own father did this. As I grew up I worked hard you know how every kid does to please their parents, developed my own opinions, would correct my parents where they went wrong (albeit ofc not publically just like at home) and that would piss my father off. It was like he felt I was questioning his authority or something. If he sees me do good in life he tries his best to bring me down, he would create fights and be just horribly abusive day before my exams so I would end up doing bad.
I have seen other people do it too but on a smaller scale and I feel hurt because i trusted you. This is why I keep my circle super small and private and it's pushed me to be really introverted.
It doesn't hold me back anymore, I just don't have time or energy for unnecessary drama anymore.
#3. Power in understatement. Underplay the strengths and hide them behind your "weaknesses". Disarm just about anubody.

I just happened to have been born with an advanced intellect...I didn't know it. When I was a child adults were "cutting me dwn to size" before I even knew why they were threatened. So I've always played it dumb, played dumb to make people comfortable, let others take the credit, had low self-esteem. But at least I got the education. It's one of the loneliest things. I was oblivious to the jealousy for so long, I just knew people resented me. Very painful.
