@@Jay-Jones 100% that’s the case. At that point just prior to meeting Walt for the first time Saul had hit the sweet spot where he was going perfect, or almost perfect in life and career.
@genghiskhan7041 It's true. I don't know anyone that dislikes him, even people that aren't fans. Tbh though, I haven't been thrilled with any of the roles he's taken on post-BCS. I guess I'm spoiled.
Heisenberg was the person Walt always wanted to be but couldn’t due to fear. Saul Goodman was the person Jimmy never wanted to be, but felt like he had to in order to survive.
I see it the complete opposite. Walter definitely didn’t want to end up as an evil, sociopathic child poisoning murderer. He created the Heisenberg persona to fit in the drug game and then he had to lean into it in order to survive. Jimmy is shown to have always been about personal gain and self interest. Even from childhood. A way stronger argument could be made that Jimmy was “always Saul” than that Walter was “always Heisenberg” and just pretended to be a morally upstanding citizen for 50 years out of “fear”.
@ Walter created the Heisenberg purely for money and power. Maybe that was the case at first, but as time went on it was less about surviving and more about him growing in the game. He could have copped out at a few points, but his power hungry ego kept him in. Saul was the persona Jimmy felt was his destiny. He followed Chuck’s advice and embraced the fact that he hurts people, but ended up loosing everything because of it, until Saul was the only thing left.
You are downright phenomenal with these analysis videos please do on a anime character satoru gojo the fandom ruins his actual character but his view on the world is actually interesting
Chuck is the true villain of BB/BCS universe, if he acknowledged Jimmy and mentored him to the standard of HHM then they will be the best Lawyer brothers.
chuck never enabled a drug empire, worked for the cartel, and got people killed inadvertently. just because the shows are from someone’s perspective doesn’t mean they’re the good guys. chuck was an asshole, but not the villain
Chuck is in my eyes the Catalyst for Jimmy’s earlier downfall! His Brother was an Egotistical idiot who always trying to be better than his brother and not believing in Jimmy’s Talent and getting real Respect from him! Also if you pass the Bar, you passed the Bar! Same rule and he didn’t really give a damn about the Rule, he just don’t like Jimmy being on Top and having an easier way to go on Top!
I always felt that Jimmy McGill becoming a lawyer was his way of showing responsibility and his thanks to Chuck. Had Chuck for once let go of his hatred for Jimmy and given him a chance, Jimmy's unorthodox skills as a lawyer would have been invaluable to the firm cause Jimmy McGill even without the antics was a good lawyer capable of knowing loopholes, tricks and anticipating the opposition's moves and cleverly. But of course Chuck being self righteous seeing his brother as still a conman did everything even putting his health on the line to sabotage Jimmy. Jimmy showing how much he cared about Chuck worried about his health discovers what Chuck did, meaning Jimmy's hatred for Howard was misplaced. The worse thing to happen to Jimmy was really Tuco as being able to talk a murderous psycho like him into not killing someone gave Jimmy a reputation as someone who can sell an Eskimo a fur coat. Criminals began to use his services and Jimmy in his law profession and his side dealing began to use his conman skills and knowledge of the law to enrich himself. The funny side of all this is how he truly became a criminal using a law degree when he got his heartbroken and his feelings hurt by the people he got close with. Even in the end he changed the narrative of how he meet Walter White as Heinsberg using the truth to make himself the victim, showing how much of a good lawyer and conman he is meaning that in the end he faced up to his actions and wanted people to get justice but of course amongst criminals he was better call Saul Goodman gaining the admiration of the inmates he was locked up with since he was in Jesse's words a 'criminal lawyer'. It's likely even in jail he'll be helping criminals with their legal issues as he is particularly surrounded by customers.
Jimmy could have taken chuck's guidance but he hated that thumb on him. Just like when he got a position with Mesa Verde, he thought that office that vibe was just not his style. It was too goody two shoes for him. So he sabotaged it like he sabotaged his position under Chuck's tutelage. Chuck isn't the culprit here. A bad guy is a bad guy no matter how many good moral wholesome chances he gets
@darkones4370 Chuck was just as bad as Jimmy in his own way. he never doubted to use the law for his benefit even when it meant blackmailing or power tripping. on repeated occasions Jimmy tried to change only to be stopped by Chuck and his ever lasting envy of Jimmy's charisma. What happened to Chuck in the bar hearing was something well deserved, just as much as life in prisión for Jimmy.
Great analysis video as always! Been waiting for this one. I hope you do one for Oswald Cobb from the Penguin tv show. He’s such an interesting evil character
Excellent video! I'd try to spell check all of your captions before you put out a video. You make great content, and you want the visual part of your presentation to be as polished as your written/spoken parts!
In my opinion Jimmy was a cancer. He destroyed everything and everyone he touched. Chuck should have never rescued Jimmy from prison. Jimmy would have learned a valuable lesson.
I agree. I feel people's judgement of Chuck stems from his lack of charisma as compared to Jimmy. He had numerous opportunities to succeed despite not getting hired by HHM and blew every one because at his core he was Slippin' Jimmy. He tanked every chance at becoming a respectable lawyer and then blamed it on others. With Chuck out of the picture, Howard extended Jimmy respect and validation that Jimmy supposedly sought only to become target of the most despicable scheme to ruin a man's life. At their core both Jimmy and Kim are resentful and hateful people lashing at society behind wall of excuses.
But I need a deeper psychological explanation of the most famous ppl that’ll be pardoned up to now… bcoz there hold has to be studied(whether dead or alive) that can’t shaken… bcoz some may ppl of old or new tradition that’s religiously honored… plz do it on anyone which may change the view from biased to understanding for a lot
Suggestion could you do the character Dexter Morgan or finish of the trio for power tv show James st pratick(ghost) being the other two Tommy and kanan
Saul was the greatest ride or die of the biggest bag… 0:37 he best described anyone to reach the upper echelons… but forget or forgot that they’d peacefully life is a distant mirage for those work for ‘desires’
_Fact is, Walter White couldn't have done it without me._
Saul Goodman is the best thing that's ever happened to Walter White
Walter White was the worst thing to ever happen to Saul Goodman
And Television.
@@Jay-Jones 100% that’s the case. At that point just prior to meeting Walt for the first time Saul had hit the sweet spot where he was going perfect, or almost perfect in life and career.

Bob Odenkirk did an incredible job portraying this very complex character. It's a crime that he was not recognized with awards.
Bob earned the greatest award of all, the undying love of his fans. Hahaha, sorry, couldn't resist being corny AF :D

Plus I truly feel Chuck is the reason for Howard’s death
Chuck’s reasoning was justifiable, it was just horrible to be seen done to his own brother, who idolised chuck his whole life.

F Chuck, he was a horrible Big Brother
And Saul was a horrible brother aswell. Just in a different way
Chuck was a hero
they are both somehow the same amount of morally grey yet on the opposite ends of a spectrum

I would love to see Amanda Waller from the suicide squad.
it's so telling that for someone so supposedly passionate about the law... Chuck created Saul Goodman

Do one on Dexter
Yes yo! Dexter Morgan's psychology is so fuckin interesting and no one better to break it down than my man JWiz
Can you do a throwback segment on a old school tv villain? May I suggest J.R. Ewing played by Larry Hagman?
These vids are very well scripted and delivered. I think you've found a decent niche
Can you do the dark psychology on the characters for the characters on Good Girls? It’s one of my favorite shows.
You have to do chuck too

I completely agree. Most people do not get that. Most people like Jimmy because he is fun and they do not go any further than that.
Brilliant!
We got jimmy, can we get a video on chuck or is there not enough for a psychology vid on chuck after the jimmy video?
Another one 🎉🎉🎉
Just a suggestion, but you should do Charles Vain from Black Sails
I would like to see the origin of Gus Fring, his time in Chile and how he developed into Los Pollos Hermanos Kingpin. That would be a great spin off.
So if you make more money and keep the money you make

Do David goggins or Andrew Tate next up
