This must be the most unintuitive software I've ever had the displeasure of using.

Nice one :), but the cursor is a little distracting as for the music... A pic is worth a thousand words but a piece of music is not. I'm trying to do this on a cubic solid. Thank you all the same.

this can be done much simpler using by cutting the taper with the pocket tool Using a sketch on a vertical plane.

I'm a beginner and seaching for an answer to achieve this on a cubic solid. So this would be my answer but would love to have a simpler way to cut a cube from the top corner to opposite bottom corner or near it.
