So for nightly sleeper if they need to play for 10 hours to drive the route also barely anyone well do it
If I was in charge of SCR, instead of adding NPC passengers I would just make being a passenger more ineractible like being able to buy something at station shops or at restaurant cars.
One the whole NPC thing, I actually think it would work, having it toggleable would help with lag and I have seen it work in other games that are in *BETA* so why couldn't it work for SCR. Also the trains feel very empty, as many people want to do a job (Like guarding, dispatching ,ect.). Next thing I'd like to argue against is the Express to Willowfeild and Victoria (Not Airlink or Whitefield), many long distance routes go from these stations and it's realistic that an express operator would go there. Also the major capacity at SV is possibly meant for Express services as High Speed was rumored to stop there. So I could see passing tracks to Willowfeild via Beechly and direct to Victoria. Next up is Airlink via Benton, as a sole bypass or a shuttle service (like LSR to AC) it would serve a purpose as to link a major city by the airport in a faster way than connect would. Finally, a service solely from the Airport to Llyn would work as that would complete the network as Airlink would go to all the major cities in SCR. Airlinks purpose is to connect SCR's major cities to the airport.
problem is still NPC are part of models, and therefore it won't be feasible
also unless they revamp the Beechley Triangle, it won't probably come since congestion would be a major problem
the random platform allocation now allocate all trains to platform 3-6 at Stepford Victoria
AirLink to Llyn would defeat the purpose of AirLink themselves, because Airport trains, as far as i know must be a under 15 minute airport rail service

What game has npc I wanna play
For the NPC’s thingy it would be good if the train would fill up with people basically just spawn in the train and at different times the train will get filled up to a certain amount
BanTech had already stated that NPC/Ai passengers will not come to the game at its current state
My sugestion is to extend waterline to Hampton Hargate and create a new branch with 1 or 2 new stations, because it's really hard to go from Morganstown to Hampton Hargate
That's extremely unlikely for the Waterline to be extended to Hampton Hargate because it would delay Express Service trips if they were to use the same tracks.

@@droxly3287The only solution to it I can think of is adding junctions at stations where not every train stops, so that the trains can overtake another one standing at the platform via an empty track.
The longest service isn’t 40 minutes I went from llyn to stepford central I skipped 2 stations and still it took 45 minutes also I was disobeying speed limits and it was a vip server and left brake ing to the last second and stopped at the end of the platform except the 2 stations I missed
I believe that suggestion № 5 does serve a purpose if used solely as a bypass route (with the possible exception of a stop at Benton?), i.e. AirLink uses only the Express tracks and does not stop at any stations in between - it will serve as a shorter and thus quicker route for the barely-stopping AirLink routes (i.e. Direct non-stop from the airport area to the Stepford area) and therefore decreasing travel times and increasing efficiency.
problem is they defeat the purpose of two stations airlink serves, and one of them is operated by AirLink themselves
@@tenny_tenten I’m not saying that the entirety of AirLink should be rerouted to the Benton route - I’m saying that routes such as R051 which don’t stop at any of those stations anyway should be rerouted via Benton to decrease travel times.
@@menameisdaniel Yeah thats a really good idea for that route however the Morganstown route is much less congested than the Benton route, you will always get trains in front of you near Benton

Airlink is a airport express between the airport and the nearest major city so passengers can change there for other services.

I say Airlink extending to Llyn is the worst, but not to Leighton City, if it does, then it would serve the main Leighton station.
No.7 Only one platform is served to SV Beechley and Willowfield and that’s plat 11. SC will requires heavy reconstructed and well more tunnels to serve AirLink and Express Trains.
We have already Beechley-Airport Central and SV-Terminal 2 on Connect so no AL to SV or Beechley but allow SC to have plat 0 for Express.
Solution is that suggest that R005 is no longer a free route and replaced by Beechley - Whitefield or SC - Morganstown or the Express platforms go underground.
I missed the meeting where you became a SCR dev and had the authoirity to tell us what is stupid and what isnt.

@@selooom You cannot makr a route very easy, because planning a route on a railway is NOT a joke, you can see Office of Rail and Road denying open access applications for Grand Union and First Harrogate Trains because they abstracting revenue from a TOC, or should i say, defeating the purpose of a franchised TOC

8: Who would even think that? It would obviously ruin the purpose of Airlink. Airlink is an airport train, that's why it is the only service to run through all the airport terminals.
7: Yesterday I was in the server that had a very big train block from Stepford Central to Stepford East. The stations both have tons of platforms yet it was a block. If we expand to Willowfield and Stepford Victoria it will obviously cause tons of train jams since the platforms are way smaller and the newbie train route runs down there so there will be a lot of slow drivers that stop at Financial Quarter and City Hospital which will make the Express & Airlink trains run late. And they will have to make Stepford Central bigger and try and figure out a way to connect the tracks together which is probably a lot of work. And it will ruin the purpose of Connect.
6: If that is the case then everyone will think that Airlink and Express are the same thing. You have the Leighton Express route already. Plus Airlink shouldn't be having direct routes to those places. It should be going to the airport, that's what it's designed for. It defeats both Airlink and Express purposes.
5: As you know it defeats the Express purpose.
4: Why would a Waterline be running to Llyn? It should be running by the riverbend as you know, that's why its called Waterline? And it's a commuter train so it shouldn't be running that far.
3: I mean I think Metro could happen, or we could make it into a tram route but the devs could make mini stations JUST for Metro that they could stop at.
2: The Nightly Sleeper sounds so good but it will be a lot of hard work for the devs. I know this sounds like a dumb idea, but maybe they could make Sleeper express trains and expand a little bit from Llyn? That sounds like a dumb idea but it could work.
1: I don't even want to right a whole damn essay about this, how stupid it is. We have Express, it's the only streamline train that should be running that far. Airlink should be at the airport not at the seaside.

Nightly sleeper just wouldn’t work is mainly the factor of logic, Stepford is a fictional County that apparently has no mainline connection, the Nightly sleeper could work if there was a mainline connection but simple fact there isn’t and there never will be.
Using Hugh as your tts is a nice touch. I miss him, wish he would still be in game.

What about Connect service to MT via Benton? I think that's also stupid because it'll ruin the purpose of MT Shuttle.

i agree with those 9 stupid suggestions you mentioned but the NPC passengers one is a good addition to the game. It makes the experience more livelier coz every players just choose to be either driver, guard or dispatcher. no one wants to be a passenger except some few players and there's no fun to it. Well it will become laggy and you already said that the devs are not doing it but still hopeful maybe in the future.
And the points should be based on how many passengers you transport from station to station, so that express doesnt earn only 5 pts per stop
For everyone who agrees that NPC passengers is a good idea: consider that these NPCs mean more assets to be loaded, and together with about 50 different classes of trains, ranging from 2-7 cars per unit based in class, all the tracks that these trains run on, 62 different stations that vary in size, not to mention the new cars and buses in the airport area, updated tunnels, detailed scenery, AND all the other player avatars, it would definitely cause more lag and render it unplayable on lower-quality mobile devices.

I have to agree with you, these ideas communities from the community are stupid, really Express to airport parkway, central, terminal, terminal 2 and 3? Oh dear I would have to wait for hours until the red stop sign is gone, therefor we have different categories SCR Lines, fingers crossed that non of the these stupid ideas will be developed in the future!

There was plans in pre v1 to have high speed from step vic stopping at some tram stop Deighton road (the trams would go over) then it would join on at morganstown then stop at winstree as it was then non stop to llyn but it got scrapped with metro (there was supposed to be a metro loop) that was from sc went to shb turned right over airlink then looped around connected with the hs line and stopped at loads of stops upto step vic then back round to sc

I you want to go from Stepford Central to Leighton Stepford Road on AirLink, you’ll have to go on 2 routes on AirLink Stepford Central to Stepford Airport Central R051 or R054 and Airp Central to Leighton Stepford Road R056

another reason of why Metro will not be added is cuz Metro means underground rail, and most stations in SCR are not underground. So adding Metro in the game will be pointless.

NPC would be good and benton is a good suggestion. It would ONLY stop at benton. Benton is a very big station and in a big town/city with all services stopping there. It would realistically make sense that airlink stops at benton bc then passengers from waterline can easy peasy travel to benton and then take airlink to go to airport. It just makes sense if airlink stops at a city bc of realism.
well, it won't happen both of them tho, firstly, congestion at st helens bridge, also it would kinda defeat the purpose of R001 and R005, whilst NPC passengers would make the game worse at its current state
@@tenny_tenten It wouldnt really defeat the purpose to be fair. Yes ROO1 maybe but honestly considering the amount of trains and people going to AC this is a good backup line. And about ROO5: Its going from victoria. So the passengers from victoria can easily go from victoria to AC and then take their flight. Now airlink is considered a bit special and expensive like express. Meaning people from idk newry can take a waterline to benton and then either go via connect or an airlink directly to AC. Airlink wouldnt stop at any other station and just take the people from benton. Meanwhile both ROO1 and ROO5 would stop at benton bridge and airport parkway. Yk what I mean?

Even though you can be right, not EVERY airlink route to SC is stopping at those 2 (not Berrily it's like T1) and that's the same thing with the 3 stations I said. + Even though it can defeat some connect routes, Express already defeated almost half of Waterline's purpose (like NH to Morganstown). You can take an express train to Benton and go on Waterline to any other station. And yes, even though you are right, Benton has 14 platforms (I think) so connect serving more than half of them is pointless. There will be a bit of confusion with the tunnels from Benton but it will work out.
NPC maybe can become a great feature and possible to make, BUT, Ofc is gonna be laggy as too much model and script that need to be loaded

The npc is an stupid suggestion because they are more than 60 stations in SCR and put the NPC in the stations one by one can be laggy and very harder because the passengers have to choose the line, the destination, etc... And for be original, the Npc's can probably have an animation like TSW and it more harder.

@@tenny_tenten I honestly agree. As a dev myself though idk if this will cause that much lag like everyone expects. They should do low quality servers and high quality servers. Thats what similar games (in graphic ways) have been doing.
Most of them I disagree, because from Dwellers video they said that SCR is mostly adapting the network so once SCR runs out of ideas they are going to use one of these
However, I'm gonna say about these.
1. AirLink to Llyn is very controversial, and because the devs once said that it would defeat the point of Express, it would not happen.
2. AirLink and Express to SUFC and Whitefield would ruin its point of the Whitefield district being a rural town near Stepford
3. Express to SV may happen, as the area needed a dire of a track reshuffling, and it would make some opportunites for more routes
4. The expansion of SCR may resume once Roblox increased the map limit, doing optimizations to the client and fixing its current issues
Number 5 is dumb because the Job SC-Airport via Benton make Connect

Some suggestions that I think it's good but being marked as "stupid"
1. Waterline to Leighton
As the James Street extension is confirmed, the branch from James Street can extend to somewhere like Leighton or closer, Hampton.
2. Airlink to Benton/SV/Willowfield
It seems fine for Airlink to Benton. As Benton is a big station, Airlink using express tracks to go from SC-Airport via Benton or even Benton-Airport is a great idea.
For SV and Willowfield as they're not really too "small branch" as compare to stations on Morganstown branch, limited service to these locations are quite good.
3. Metro
Actually, though metro is repeated with connect, Metro can turn into a "subway", like a metro-styled underground tramlink. Due to the extra stops and being underground, it's not stupid.
4. NPC
I don't think NPC is a hard work. NPCs are a function (mostly able to turn on/off) commonly found in big games. It can add some variety to boring stations and trains that are always empty, and make the stopping time more useful for trains without passengers.
Well i cannot say that, but these won't come tho, especially the Metro part, since former PDV Mattyx2013 said there is no Tramlink and Metro.
Airlink/Express to SV/Willowfield would cause congestion, because Beechley Triangle, and there are two free routes by Stepford Connect, which is R005 and R045, respectfully.
Ai passengers would cause major issues for players with low end PC's and would cause SCR to decline its popularity, since SCR is focused on optimization.
and Waterline doesn't need a extension further, because the JSE is the very last extension
@@tenny_tenten I think for the James Street extension, it can be one more stop further to Hampton or Leighton. (The stop at Leighton/Hampton is on the James Street branch)
And for the NPCs, you can check out some other games, like Sunshine Islands bus simulator, a bus simulation game with NPCs. The NPC function can be turned on/off when entering the game, so it won't be any problem for laggy players.
Yeah but the problem is airlink trains would have to use the connect tracks because the express tracks lead you to hampton, the other way to morganstown
@@7hru For Benton, the connect and express tracks would merge together at the junction to PB. The trains can change to the Connect tracks before going on Benton Bridge.

1. Stepford Victoria should just be replaced if only one operator calls at it, as it is a major station.
2. Leighton City is now the main Leighton station and some express trains skip LSR. So it would be logical for Airlink to go one stop further.

Take a look at it from a real life perspective, you don't want an Express operator to go to a station that you can walk to quicker... its pointless, and considering it won't stop at CH or FQ that makes it even more pointless.
So SV will be demolished and replaced with a Willowfield-Or-Whitefield-Esque terminus then? Because SV is supposed to be a big, major station but only one operator stops there.

#3) Replacing the Class 717 & 730 with the SP1900 or MLR-Cam-rail 😂
Reason - Number 1 - These replacement requires foreign train control centre other than Britain as that are both Hong Kong Trains. Number 2- They are much slower than their replacements. With a maximum speed anywhere between 45 - 75 mph (72 - 120 km/h) which will became the longest and slowest trains to add to SCR. Number 3 - If Airlink & Express can’t fit these trains, then I may suggest Connect & Waterline will suit these trains. No ridiculous way. They are between 4 and 12 coaches long and it’s between somewhere 108 - 255 meters long.
#2 Stepford Central going underground station
Reason - The build time will be even harder than the biggest station in SCR. There will be required as much as 20 tubes on the two Stepford Stations, including Stepford Depot.

A not dumb suggestion is Express stopping at Millcastle (M. Racecourse is optional).
A rather pointless since Express stops at Westercoast, which is nearby Millcastle, and the racecourse is dead all the time

1. It would make the portion of SHB and Bodin overcongested
2. Its dumb tbh, Airport trains do not tend to run additional paths via another route
3. It would defeat the purpose of Elsemere Junction, Berrily, and Morganstown, hence AirLink via Benton isn't a good idea

probably it may come to SCR however it won't be hampton hargate anymore, because there is potential of Hampton Hargate being moved away from the Express tracks from MGT and create a Rugby-Birmingham-Stafford branch like railway

Edit: the easiest way to make less lagg too is to make it so small stations could only have like 10 or 5 NPC, like lets give an example of TPT2 like it could fit like 200 ppl on benton, well you still wont lagg at least, and it will give more money when u have NPC but its not too possible to add it like this, could took like about 4 to 5 months
