I mean I never saw a dev shifting to automation or testing in my 6 yrs of career. Most testers are actually BA, Devops, etl, scrum master, project manager etc cuz they know just by doing testing they can't grow in IT. Bt problem is luck also matters here. Cuz it's on company and project which skills as and work u get. By doing certification now getting job in different tech is almost difficult.

If I didn't spend on training then I didn't get any opportunity from any IT companies.... So in today's world it is mandatory to invest on training and then after they provide you job referrals..... Postman can be used as automation tool for automating the api aur selenium is automation tool for web app automation.. so in general selenium for ui and postman for backend
