Wonderful voice, wonderful composition! Being young in the 80's was a great time, no social media crap, great music on the radio, and not to mention no mobile phones. It was a great time to be alive. The kids today don't know what they have missed. These are crazy times.... we were young and everything was new and awesome!

Do you remember Bruce Baum's " Marty Feldman eyes " Released in 1981 a while after this song was a big hit. Feldman had gigantic wandering eyes and was a riot in the "Young Frankenstein " movie.
I think more than possibly. The fact she sang the last bar live and it was seamless - as though the mic was on the whole time. I have seen a lot of performers on Les Aness Bonhuer and its nearly always live vocals. This was one of very few that was not live. Other big names like : Nena and Banarama sang live as did Petula Clark, Kim Wilde and Bonnie Tyler . Its supposed to be a nostalgic french live show and I am suprised that Kim would mime on a "live " show that normally has live vocals and supprised they would allow it, when its so blantant . Its also weird how that live ending comes in it doesn't sound like she was singing at all over the track or miming with a live mic and then sang only in the last 10 seconds. Its very weird. she may have a had a sore throat I suppose or something on the day.

The synth sound at the beginning sounds exactly like the original studio recording. I believe that they used a Sequential Prophet 5 synth for the studio recording. It is easy to recognize it, because is has real wood on the sides and on the top. It is easy to see that there is no Prophet 5 on stage in this video, which tells me that Kim is lip-syncing to an older recording. The Prophet 5 was released in 1978, and it is still in production in 2023. The sound of this synth is so warm and just wonderful.

The synth sound at the beginning sounds exactly like the original studio recording. I believe that they used a Sequential Prophet 5 synth for the studio recording. It is easy to recognize it, because is has real wood on the sides and on the top. It is easy to see that there is no Prophet 5 on stage in this video, which tells me that Kim is lip-syncing to an older recording. The Prophet 5 was released in 1978, and it is still in production in 2023. The sound of this synth is so warm and just wonderful.

Quel plaisir de retrouver de véritables "vedettes" comme on disait "avant". Quel que soit l'avis porté sur Patrick Sébastien, son émission était de qualité, un orchestre excellent et des invités renouant avec la nostalgie de notre jeunesse. Peut-être que son émission était jugée ringarde par la direction de la chaine, mais alors le public et les téléspectateurs aussi. Donc, arbitrairement on supprime une émission sans tenir compte des goûts de l'audience.
