I absolutely adore this, Changes add more depth to the kit with the stun at the end of the E and the new worked ground mechanics. She'll probably be moved out of the jungle (unless we realize that he clear isn't really impacted) but these changes definitely make her stronger in Mid and Support (and possibly ADC too, cause ik some people play her there)
I played taliya like twice before and I remember her being one of the worst feeling champs I played up to that point, but these changes look like a lot of fun
I took her up like a week before the rework, I just loved how carefree the character is and it really rubs off on you in such a hellish environment, she's probably my fav champion especially after the rework

Hope this and ahri's rework would become the standard for the future mid scope reworks

I think the numbers on big rock will be lowered a bit more and CD increased, but overall i just like seeing her playable in the role she was designed for again. And the E that actually counters dashes, even unstoppable ults, they take damage reach the point and then are stunned :D, also the crisp W is it has a faster knock back time after input Aoe Q, her passive lingers when away from walls, allowing you to chain it finally and not hop off and on redundantly. chefs kiss riot, you did something right this time. Dark harvest is a good rune, but I doubt it would do the most dmg because it’s stuck behind 50% hp. Zwags had a couple games where comet didn’t like 8-9k, don’t think I’ve ever seen anything higher than that from a rune.
@@JustBozo345 well also.. comet and harvest are like the only keystones in the game that you can reduce the cd on ( i think) but ig first strike would also be good since it applies on huge burst aoe abilities like mf ult
21:28 if we slow it down and take if frame by frame we can clearly see mal flash did not get hurt from e or pop any e's mines but right as the first Q would hit him he ulted popping 3 mines as your electric rune was on CD he also died be for echo proc as the CD ended after the death and did not give you a speed boost it was the first q damage and his own ult with your e that killed him.
I had to find this out the hard way, but Taliyah E will damage Sett when he uses his Q. I assume it's because Sett Q gives bonus movespeed towards enemies but for whatever reason it triggers her E to detonate. Sucks to be a Sett main against a Taliyah ;-;

damn I love this rework of taliyah so much, I'm excited to see perhaps a bruiser taliyah build with riftmaker, winter's approach, cosmic and frozen heart, perhaps with glacial as a keystone. her Q cd is so low that if she gets to sustain off its damage I think she could be fighting for a real long time and not die.
that's why I was thinking about winter's approach and frozen heart, the first is a tear tank item and the second has mana and cd which makes it really good for sustained duelling
I really like the look of these changes, but the damage may be a little too good. Could also just be that you're good with her though lol. Definitely hope these changes make it through to live servers
I just realized that the malaphite in this game was “OneBakaTwo”, the viewer that Zwag plays with sometimes. Only this time, they were on the other team.
I really like all the off-meta builds that you do. The ones that really intrigued me were when you built Quickblades to reduce cooldowns. Someone that I was hoping to see you do it with (and unfortunately you haven't yet) is Vi. I tried it out myself and that it was pretty fun (went Jungle but I know you'd do just fine in lane). Her Q and E were up every 2 seconds, and E crits would delete most oponents. Started with Kraken, got some Berserkers (more attacks means more chances to crit), went into Quickblades and Essence Reaver. Games always ended early before I could get more items, but I'd probably build crit that suited the game. I think PD (for ghosting, move and attack speed), and RapidFire (attack and move speed, bonus range, bonus ap damage) were my go tos. Stormrazor, IE, and Collector would be good follow ups as well, but anything works really. It's Vi; punch first, ask questions while punching.
This was much needed. Taliyah didn't feel great to play before, which was reflected in her pick rate. I think that having her post-Q zones be empowered instead of weakening is a great way to change that.

Wicked vid! Been playing Tali a couple months now and I'm super excited for this rework! She's always felt good but mediocre on average and this seems like a complete buff all the way around.
These rock changes are sweet. One of my biggest gripes with her was how reliant you were on planning abilities around worked ground timers. But now that you set things up around big rock I can vibe with this new playstyle more.
Instead of punishing you for not playing around the warped ground well, it now rewards you for using it well. That's a very welcome kind of change. Maybe rewards you a bit too much, but they can adjust the numbers.
This gameplay loop of the new zones is a lot cooler than her zones being a debuf. It encourages forethought and fighting instead of punishing you for skirmishing in one place.
What's great with Taliyah's mines is that even if your enemies don't have dashes, if you can land your W, you can force your opponents to "dash" through them and still apply the damage and stun.
I think the play might be Ludens>Seraphs. Being able to spam lets you set up for more big rocks. Shadowflame definitely put in work here but the mana problems were noticable, and Seraphs Sustain would be nice. Looks fun.
Honestly looking forward to resume playing Taliyah with this rework. It was so much fun watching you excited over her in this gameplay. Thanks for another great video.
Trully amazing Taliyah gameplay. You make it look so easy! I don't like the new post game "progression" screen either, I like the Scoreboard as landing one better. But, you can avoid the extra clicks you mentioned because the main graphs/stats are already in the column next to KDA. Although the runes stats are still inside the Advance details page.
As some one who would play talayah a lot in support role I don't like them nerfing my op q, I loved dancing around with the q's and the debuff limited it to a point where it didn't feel too op.
I have a super fun hybrid Shaco jungle build you should try. Take the meta HOB rune page and go Stridebreaker, atk speed shoes, Deaths Dance, Demonic embrace, Cosmic drive and, Shadow flame. The build makes Shaco feel unkillable and strong at all stages of the game. Into matchups like Rengar and Kha zix you can rush deaths dance and duel them at any stage of the game. It's super funny
It makes me happy to hear that Zwag likes the Taliyah changes cause he hasn't really liked the last few mages that Riot has released. I also loveee the changes
It feels like they should swap her q. First you throw a boulder that slow, allowing a better set up for her w e combo, and then you get the little rocks to finish the kill. This way you can chase/kite better, working well with passive and you are rewarded with higher damage for playing with your workes grounds.

I think this changes are really good. The nerfs on early roaming matters the most in high-elo and pro, making it possible to buff combat stats for average play. Also, changing the worked ground from a nuisance to a buff seems a really good idea. I think she is a bit strong in numbers, tho. Maybe a nerf in Boulder damage, and a bit of higher CD or mana cost on Q1.
Also for a build I'd like to see, Viego with Shieldbow, Bloodthirster, Rageblade, Ravenous Hydra, and Blade of the Ruined King, with whatever boots are needed.
This got me an idea! Taliyah/Vayne duo bot, the E says it stuns enemies that dash or are knocked trough them, so it's basically a wall for a vayne stun everywhere you want, plus the literal wall of her R lol
What I've learned is that Taliyah can cast E during the cast time of W. Never knew that. That alone makes the combo sooo much easier, even without the rework.

Interesting changes, definitely approve of the worked ground change, would maybe like to see threaded volleys range reduced by about 200 but the boulder throw increased by 200. 1k range on them while she can still move and cast has always felt a little insane but limited to a small area to cast the long range prepared snipe shot sounds a lot more fun.
@@syahidirhassan4846 depends tbh, it'd be able to hit a bit further but at the same time it limits where she can be to use that range which makes it more easily counter played by forcing her from worked ground. either way 1k range still seems a bit off for her basic q, thats borderline artillery mage levels of range but with being able to kite at the same time >
Can I make a suggestion for a champ build to try? If so, Maokai mid but going Tear start, Liandry's, Fimbulwinter, Demonic and then pestering jungle as much as possible. Would make a cool video I think
Day 5 of asking for Full CDR Gnar. This build gives you two ults in one mega form! You build goredrinker, black cleaver, ravenous hydra, serylda's grudge, navori quickblades, and boots/death's dance. You get a massive amount of AD, so you can deal 500-800 damage ults and spam abilities in mega form. You get 2 ults in one mega form!

The clear got buffed not only in the nature of the skills but also, i think, they upped her damage to monsters
She definitely hasn't been moved out of the jungle, just more viable mid. Her jg clear is so good with the big rocks.

I think an interesting challenge would be to see the max possible damage you could get from your keystone. Any runes, any champ

To balance you'd have to make some limits, like no infinite scaling such as Veigar passive or DH because that's infinite damage.

that is just the detonation damage after 4 seconds, which is getting removed with this rework.

Interesting changes, definitely approve of the worked ground change, would maybe like to see threaded volleys range reduced by about 200 but the boulder throw increased by 200. 1k range on them while she can still move and cast has always felt a little insane but limited to a small area to cast the long range prepared snipe shot sounds a lot more fun.
That would make her empower Q way too strong.. unless they lower the scaling from 100% to 70-80% ap scaling
@@syahidirhassan4846 depends tbh, it'd be able to hit a bit further but at the same time it limits where she can be to use that range which makes it more easily counter played by forcing her from worked ground. either way 1k range still seems a bit off for her basic q, thats borderline artillery mage levels of range but with being able to kite at the same time >

Can I make a suggestion for a champ build to try? If so, Maokai mid but going Tear start, Liandry's, Fimbulwinter, Demonic and then pestering jungle as much as possible. Would make a cool video I think

Day 5 of asking for Full CDR Gnar. This build gives you two ults in one mega form! You build goredrinker, black cleaver, ravenous hydra, serylda's grudge, navori quickblades, and boots/death's dance. You get a massive amount of AD, so you can deal 500-800 damage ults and spam abilities in mega form. You get 2 ults in one mega form!
