I think it's because you don't follow it because that hasn't been the case at all. 2021 was the last one considered a strong draft, last year was considered all time weak. 2022 wasn't considered strong per se, it just had an all time prospect in Wemby. 2020 was considered weak, 2019 was a stong top 3 but weak overall, 2018 wasn't considered particularly strong, etc.
Cooper flagg can be andre kirilinko on steroids. AK47 was an absolute difference maker on those mid 2000s jazz squads. Id spend a top pick on that alllllllll day
Ace Bailey is the same player as Jabari Smith Jr in basically every sense. They're basically the same players, can't get to the rim, tall wings that are very frail, take 85-90% jump shots, can't pass. They're the same. And I hope scout's realize this
Much more aggressive and can shoot off the dribble. It’s hard to remember that many felt Jabari should go one. Give this kid more than 10 games and to mature as he is only 18.
@@SportingLogically i think you have to look at strength of schedule. cooper flagg has had the hardest schedule. dylan harper may take number 1 spot. but you are seeing players like ego demin now playing teams that actually guard and play defence struggling because their ball handling not great and they cant create their own shots against good teams. even edgecomb dropping. as teams player ranked teams that play defence you gonna see the lesser talents drop.
as a nets fan would you take flagg at 1 if he tore his acl in march madness? is there that much of a difference there? especially for a team that would like to tank anyway
I can't remember the last time we said, "he's turned into a super star becaue of his wing span" you still have to be a good basketball player regardless of wing span
Obviously, but wingspan is still very much an important measurement in basketball. Giannis’s wingspan is an important aspect of how he does what he does on both ends of the floor.
People doesnt have a problem to evaluate real impact, talent but people have a problem with blind hating. You can put any stats proving them wrong but they gonna hate just because its "cool" and Tatum is the perfect example
In person I saw Rutgers (Cam Johnson was there cause his bro plays “Puff”) Dylan has the D’Angelo Russell problem when he tries to make every single shot looks smooth He’s either gonna be SGA or Dlo Bailey has the muscle mass of a 16 year kid. Some people in the LA fitness are more in bigger than ace right now. He’s gonna go to the rim eventually and put on weight but he’s getting bullied by college players right now They’re trying to get into his head and they’re trying to muscle him out the way I think Ace gonna develop it’s gonna be interesting to see how it all plays out
Flagg plays with a ball dominant, shoot-first point guard who is trying to raise his own stock, on a team that's built for multiple options outside of Flagg. Rutgers was a nothing team when the other two decided to team up, so they pretty much shape it. Look at how Flagg played against the best the NBA had to offer in the scrimmage. That should answer every question you have.
@semiotik they took him off the ball to find a role for foster. Foster sucks and can't beat anyone off the dribble. Proctor is still playing the "combo guard" role despite being the guard with the most ball skill on the team.
He’s a far better defender and athlete than duke tatum but not nearly as polished offensively I dont like that comparison Tatum was a genuine 3 level scorer

I don’t see the flag Tatum comparison at all lol Tatum’s shot creating is so much better especially in high school/ college
Aight I kept watching lmao I kinda get what you were getting at now
He plays like Kawhi Leonard
As someone who doesn't follow college basketball I feel like every other year I hear this is a generational or somehow abnormally strong draft.

Literally last year was described as an awful draft lol.
I think Flagg ceiling is closer to Siakam
W comp wth
facts
I think he is more Chandler Parsons and Franz Wagner vibe personally.
Jalen Johnson
Great comp
It’s pretty simple. If a team really needs a guard they draft Dylan Harper. Otherwise they draft cooper.
Just in time for the new Media Deal, hopefully the NBA capitalizes on promoting all this young talent

Having DoorDash DashPass literally allowed me to skip everyone in line at NBA Crossover to meet Scottie Barnes and he gave me a signed DoorDash ball

bari was a better defender and bailey is a better shot creator and more fluid as a handler
Facts
I hope Raptors get the 1st pick.
Demin is going to be a beast when hes 24-25. Once his body matures he will get anywhere he wants
Congrats on the baby bro
Thank you!

I see a more talented Jerami Grant for Flagg, shades of Harden for Harper, and a mix of Jabari Smith Jr and Brandon Miller for Bailey
Ngl the draft stuff is cool and all but on the real
Congrats to you and your wife!
Thank you!
I just hope Nolan Traoré and Noa Essengue become good. We need them for the national team in the future
They’re welcome to join the Wizards, get our whole starting five speaking French
KJ IS IN TIER ONE IDC IDC IDC 🗣
Bro knows ball
Don’t sleep on Jeremiah Fears. He could end up being the hidden gem of the draft
Dylan Harper #1
Ace Bailey numbers lookin like mpj 😭
KJ IS THE GOAT 🧡💙 I-L-L
Cooper Flagg compared to Jason Tatum? 😂
I remember now a video of Cooper Flagg when he was in Mount Verde I think. How do these guys identify talent.?

Dink Pate will be the sleeper in this class
Ace Bailey=lamarcus Aldridge
Dylan Harper is goated
Take the tallest. It’s basketball.
Cooper Flagg is more like Anthony Davis at 4
congrats on your upcoming baby 🙏🙏
Ace isn't a "combo guard wing", he's not remotely a guard. Everyone considers Tatum a top 10 player. So many questionable statements in this video.

Wrong. Flagg isn't playing with a pg right now.
@@melomanace3415 Except for Procter, who was a preseason favorite for the Bob Cousy Point Guard of the Year award.

He shoots 22% from three. He’s never going to be a top 10 player. End of story
Is copper Flagg the next Christian laetner? That's the question, the whole guy who's game didn't translate
Cooper is Lattener 2.0
*ANYONE IN 2047 ?!💖*
I came back from 2062 to like this comment
Hey Julia, how's it golng?
@@chrislewis5069blud?💀
@@chrislewis5069you got this man we all believe in you
no
He is no Tatum!!
Tatum is not Tatum.
Anyone coming back to this video in 2081?
Memories
Dylan harper looks shorter than 6'6. I wouldn't be surprised if he meausres out 6'4.5 in shoes.
Dylan Harper future Brooklyn nets star (delusional)
