@awesomealgodoo the UK as a nation did not exist first of all until 1707 then expanded in 1801. In 1529 both England and Scotland had their own monarchies and parliament's and Ireland its own full parliament. The Union of Crowns did not happen until 1603 when King James VI of Scotland ascended to the English throne to become King James I of England and Great Britain. However, Scotland would still have its own full parliament until 1707 when the Scottish Parliament dissolved itself and joined with the parliament in London. In 1801 the British and Irish parliament's united. So, in 1529 it should be the St George's Cross, which is one part of the Union (British) flag - the other two parts being the St Andrew's Cross, Scotland and the St Patrick's Cross, historical Ireland.

Same with Finland, people here really dont like tourists as they behave badly and just trash our nature. Especially in lappland.
Then there are those "heroes" who come driving in winter while being from country which gets zero snow. Yeah you probably know what is gonna happen next.
Well this is more country specific as some groups are more worse than others. Most welcome tourist groups are Nordic ones here.

That map is quite subjective. First Japan along with China and several other Asian nations signed many "unequal treaties," giving the western powers of the US, the UK, Russia, France, Germany, Portugal and Austria Hungary influence and sometimes control over East Asian territories. After world war two all Japanese islands north of Hokkaido were ceded to the USSR.
As I mentioned before the east Asian powers had to cede much of there power to western countries through "unequal" treaties, the western powers divided Asia into zones of influence, Russia's sphere included Manchuria and Korea, whilst Russia did lose there influence in East Asia after the Russo-Japanese war and the two Russian revolutions they would later declare war on the empire of Japan in 1945, they occupied Manchuria and northern Korea before Japan signed an armistice and later a peace treaty, whilst the USSR ceded Manchuria to the PRC post-war they set up a regime in North Korea which was in it's early a satellite state of Russia, something it had in common with its southern neighbour.
Whilst Thailand/Siam was never colonised it had to cede its territories in Laos and Cambodia as well as small strips of land on the Malayan and Burmese border, Siam was influenced by France and Brittian as they both had colonial interest in the area, they later decided to have Siam act as a buffer state between there empires.
