Congratulations! It’s about options. Rhett Shull has a video in which he compares a Murphy labs, an Eastman, and a Heritage. His conclusion was that it is a great time to be a guitar player. There are great choices at different price points and they are all excellent guitars.
Had no idea you were not already a martin dealer. Im excited to see the new Martins and hear your insights on them. Ive been playing Eastman since 2018 and think they are great. But also love the martins.
Congrats on becoming a Martin dealer! I have the 000-16 Streetmaster which is cool due to having The VTS Adirondack Spruce top with Rosewood back & sides in the Streetmaster finish.
I own two Eastman, very nice and well made guitars, but sorry, my Martins are classic and even at twice the price, Martin is still my preference. In my opinion. Thank you for your videos.
I agree that it will be great to have Martin guitars in your shop to be able to compare Eastman, Bourgeois, Bedell Alvarez and all others with the so called "Reference point guitar" of all times, the Martin. Congrats and hope it all goes well for your sales!
Good to see this happen I am a fan of you guys I am a big Martin head I have owned over 35 new martins currently I have a D 28 modern deluxe i highly recommend when you get one of any modern deluxe series to play it I love the necks on these they are different than the other models the modern deluxe neck is a copy of a great carve on a 1930s OM 45 that is in the museum I’ve had 3 in this series and they were all very good
Congratulations to you all ! While I’m a one Martin man, I may need to up my Martin game to at least two, which would match my Thompson’s that I got through The Acoustic Shoppe. You guys are still killing it. When will they be on your web site?
Congrats, I mentioned in the live chat that I’m more excited about the recent additions of Alvarez and Yamaha than Martin. I’m a Furch Yellow Master’s Choice owner, and have several Walden’s (which y’all should carry). But I think brands like Alvarez and Yamaha give so much more per dollar. That being said, I have a friend who has a Martin dread that’s one of the best sounding guitars I’ve ever heard! I just feel that Furch, Yamaha, Eastman, Yairi and other brands, also have guitars at that level for considerably less cost. Still, congrats again!!
Y’all should get cutting gloves. As a fellow musician, it freaks me out watching all you great musicians cutting open boxes with razor sharp blades without protecting your hands! I had a really severe cut from razor sharp object back in the late 70s right before I went off to study at Berklee College of Music. It could’ve had a devastating impact on my ability to play. Now I won’t handle any sharp object without my hands being protected including cutting when I’m cooking. I’ve learned how you can have a potentially career ending injury doing something so simple especially if you get distracted for a millisecond. I was very lucky but I don’t take that for granted!
I would love to see a comparison between the Martin D-12E and the Eastman E8D TC. Almost the same price guitar. Eastman E6D is more comparable in woods, but even less expensive.
Good for you guys. You are good guys and a great store. Now I have to compete with you though being a Sweetwater Sales Engineer. I’ll be here if you need top tier recording gear as you expand your stream!
That's great to know. You guys set the bar high to keep us on our toes. If we need any recording gear, we'll hit you up. If you ever move to Springfield, MO and want to be one of our engineers, give us a call. :)
Resale on USA made guitars are better. 🎸🎸🎸 Martin Mexico Made hold their value also on resale. I know.....bought /sold a few to move up to higher end Martin/Gibson.
Sweet, except I just bought a Martin 000-28 Ambertone from Sweetwater, I look forward to some Martin videos though, I was tempted by the D-28 but that sucker is loud
Any 00 size USA Martins ???? 🎸🎸🎸 The all HPL Martins are great for travel and backup guitars on gigs. How Martin gets a "Martin sound" out of HPL is "magic". 🎸☺
Make sure that the binding isn't popping off before you sell them. Martin has become a slimeball company IMO with how they have dealt with this widespread issue.
I hate to say this… but I’ve got friends and family who work in guitar stores….. you’re probably going to go broke trying to sell Martins… a lot of people want to come try them.. not many want to buy them.
I must say my Martin DX1K sounds amazing, 2007 model th-cam.com/video/Okw2iR_iBYM/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared and sounds better and better, the Solid Top is all you need especially for strumming
IMO you buy Martin for the name but they’re not the best guitars now. The boutique builders do Martin better than Martin. That’s not a dig either, there isn’t another manufacturer that gives the heritage and history Martin has even if it’s not the best guitar available anymore.
Probably good for bussiness. I find it strange always promoting other brands as a somehow beter option or good alternatives and now they did let in the darkside. I think it is a kick in the ass for brands like Eastman. It was this channel that made me go the none Martin way, though I had am OM28. Shame on you guys going to promote guitars with rediculous prices for what you get amd even more today if you live outside the USA
We run every brand that we carry through the prism of The Acoustic Shoppe's Mission to make sure it aligns. We belive Martin Guitar Company helps us to fulfil the last two items especially. Having the Martin brand in our shop does not diminish our opinions on some of the excellent, sometimes better options from other builders, depending on the needs of each individual customer. Eastman and our other incredible manufacturers support the new partnership, knowing that rising tides raise all boats. It's a great time to be a guitar buyer, so many excellent options at every price point. Our Mission: • Thrill EVERY customer • Improve lives through music • Be a positive impact on our environment and community • Make acoustic music and education accessible to everyone at every stage • Leverage our experience to curate the best products to help customers succeed
So awesome you guys are now Martian Dealers
Great to see Martin in the Acoustic Shoppe!
One smart move by Martin. Congratulations.
Congratulations! It’s about options. Rhett Shull has a video in which he compares a Murphy labs, an Eastman, and a Heritage. His conclusion was that it is a great time to be a guitar player. There are great choices at different price points and they are all excellent guitars.
Hello from East Texas, congrats on Martin!!!!!!!
John, that is Adirondack on the top of the 000-16 street master and indian Rosewood on back and sides.
I love my Eastman, and I love Martin.
Satin finish looks /sounds great on ANY guitar . 🎸🎸🎸
I like those satin finished Martins, maybe there is one in my future.
Had no idea you were not already a martin dealer. Im excited to see the new Martins and hear your insights on them. Ive been playing Eastman since 2018 and think they are great. But also love the martins.
Congrats!
Congratulations. 🎉🎉 You guys deserve it.
Thanks for always watching, Carole, we appreciate you so much!
Martin for tha win!!
Glad I waited on getting the HD 28
Congrats on becoming a Martin dealer! I have the 000-16 Streetmaster which is cool due to having The VTS Adirondack Spruce top with Rosewood back & sides in the Streetmaster finish.
I see a new BIG building in your future! Congratulations on becoming a Martin dealer! I will be a customer!
I own two Eastman, very nice and well made guitars, but sorry, my Martins are classic and even at twice the price, Martin is still my preference. In my opinion.
Thank you for your videos.
I feel the same and I love Eastman guitars. Thankfully there are a lot of good options out there.
I agree that it will be great to have Martin guitars in your shop to be able to compare Eastman, Bourgeois, Bedell Alvarez and all others with the so called "Reference point guitar" of all times, the Martin. Congrats and hope it all goes well for your sales!
Wow I was just there a week ago and had no clue, logged onto the website and my mind was blown. I’m glad you guys are Martin Dealers.
Oh Dang. I just bought a Martin from Alvin at Morgan... He gave me a great deal.
000 Clapton; 000 Brooke Ligertwood; 000-42; 000-28; M-36 Jumbo
Would love a comparison between the D-28 vs D-28 satin.
On it!
@@AcousticShoppethanks!
Me too. Also would like to see D28 Standard vs Yamaha FG9R. Yamaha higher end I realize, but still would be fun.
Those SC-13's open up real nice when played for a bit...Congrats guys!!!
Congrats ya'all !!
I’m also excited to hear comparison videos of like spec guitars among the various brands.
Good one..."what guitar would you recommend under $1000?" Jeremy says "the back packer!" Good stuff, almost spit my coffee out.
Congratulation on being a Martin Dealer
Congratulations this is awesome!!!
Martin is the Holy Grail of guitars. 🎸🎸🎸
I bought the used D18 you had last week, now I really need an OM28…
Good to see this happen I am a fan of you guys I am a big Martin head I have owned over 35 new martins currently I have a D 28 modern deluxe i highly recommend when you get one of any modern deluxe series to play it I love the necks on these they are different than the other models the modern deluxe neck is a copy of a great carve on a 1930s OM 45 that is in the museum I’ve had 3 in this series and they were all very good
I've got a d28 MD and it's my favorite Martin❤
Man that 12 string sounded larger than life!
Finally!!! 🙌
Can’t wait for all the comparisons and review videos!!
Congratulations to you all ! While I’m a one Martin man, I may need to up my Martin game to at least two, which would match my Thompson’s that I got through The Acoustic Shoppe. You guys are still killing it. When will they be on your web site?
Thanks Stan! We’re hoping to get the majority up tomorrow and the rest early next week
Here I am waiting on my Iris D-WH and the Martins show up...
Going to come visit you guys next week… from Florida!
We will be at ROMP from Wednesday-Sunday, just so you know in case you want to meet one of the Chapmans
Where is romp?
@@guitarman0289 It's in Owensboro, KY
I had one of those Martin Boat Oar guitars for about 18 hours.. Couldn't comfortably play it and returned it.
Congrats, I mentioned in the live chat that I’m more excited about the recent additions of Alvarez and Yamaha than Martin.
I’m a Furch Yellow Master’s Choice owner, and have several Walden’s (which y’all should carry).

Now lets do a Martin vs Eastman again with honest opinions 😆
Do you think that when Dealers start carrying Boucher, it gets Martin’s attention?
Good for you guys. You are good guys and a great store. Now I have to compete with you though being a Sweetwater Sales Engineer. I’ll be here if you need top tier recording gear as you expand your stream!

I assumed y'all already were Martin dealers, apparently I wasn't paying attention : ). Congrats!
Funny to think the d15 is more expensive than the e10dtc. Also I bet Eastman is elated right? retail must be a nightmare sorry fellows.
The new Martin gig bags are awesome. Love the Streatmaster look.🎸🎸🎸
Resale on USA made guitars are better. 🎸🎸🎸 Martin Mexico Made hold their value also on resale. I know.....bought /sold a few to move up to higher end Martin/Gibson.
Great news. You guys have so many brands now, will you stop selling any? I
Could you guys pull strings for a Martin LXM? If not than maybe an LX1? Trying to get the best deal here in the USA of Texas.
Come on guys let's work something out long time listener here !!😢
Sweet, except I just bought a Martin 000-28 Ambertone from Sweetwater,
I look forward to some Martin videos though, I was tempted by the D-28 but that sucker is loud
Any 00 size USA Martins ???? 🎸🎸🎸 The all HPL Martins are great for travel and backup guitars on gigs. How Martin gets a "Martin sound" out of HPL is "magic". 🎸☺
Not in this shipment I believe
ooo-16 street master has Adirondack spruce top 👍
I wanna see a yamaha fg800 vs a hpl martin..
Do you guys carry a banjatar ?
No triple 000's? No M-36?
Make sure that the binding isn't popping off before you sell them. Martin has become a slimeball company IMO with how they have dealt with this widespread issue.

The show starts FU. Martín has to come up with a gimmick to sell more guitars.

Alternative to communist made product. Very good. Say hi to Hinckley .
You obviously don’t know the political leanings of the Martin family 😂
