World's LARGEST Indoor Water Park | Tropical Islands - All Slides 2023

- Owned and operated by Parques Reunidos, Tropical Islands is an indoor water park resort located in a former blimp hanger in Krausnick, Germany. The enormous complex is home to the World's largest indoor rainforest, several dry rides as well as plenty of water attractions. The water slide lineup is not as strong as you would expect, however, the park continuously adds new rides to improve it. When the new Amazonia outdoor area was opened, two new slides were added. In 2019, eight kids slides by Polin were added to the indoor area. In 2023, the iconic blue speed water slide was replaced by a new dueling racer water slide.
Unlike other water parks, Tropical Islands is open 24 hours. While most of the water slides close down for the night, the two slides ending in the Lagoon pool remain open, except for a short cleaning period.
Tropical Islands is located roughly 60 kilometers from Berlin's city center.

@@th-os8736 No...they only have 3 Big Slides. I was Talking from big (=große) Water Parks.
And even then i woudn't name "Havel-Therme" first, because there are at least "Lausitztherme" and "WONNEMAR Wismar", which do have a better slide variation, but they aren't "big", too.

@@signature_2537 Na der Umbau in Greifensteine Geyer (Sachsen) ist ja z.B. fast fertig --> dort stehen dann 8 Rutschen.
Auch das AQUA MARIEN (Sachsen) wird ja noch demnächst umgebaut, mit dann wohl 5 Großwasserrutschen inkl. riesiger Mehr-Personen-Halfpipe (Wiegand Lotus) und zum Umbau der Lausitztherme Bad Liebenwerda (Brandenburg) gibt es zumindest schon länger Pläne. Dort sollten ursprünglich 3 neue Röhren (+ 1 Abbau) entstehen und damit eine Anlage von dann insgesamt 7 Rutschen.

Schade um die Turbo, die hätte ich gerne mal ausprobiert! Das Layout der neuen Bahn sieht nicht schlecht aus, ich finde nur, dass es zu wenige Interaktionen mit der anderen Spur gibt. Hier hätte ich sowas wie Jungle Run im Alpamare von Klarer gerne gesehen. Nur von den Rutschen her würde ich momentan nicht extra dorthin gehen, aber mit der Vegetation in der Halle hat es schon seinen Reiz.
Sie meinen Die blaue Turbo rutsche oder? Ich durfte noch in den Genuss kommen sie zu rutschen die war so schön und mega schnell schade dass sie jetzt Weg ist :(

And a water coaster would probably fit in the space better. Tornados are very big rides.

Ich konnte die blaue Turborutsche nie rutschen. War sie nicht sogar die schnellste Deutschlands? Naja. Ich finde es schade das sie die Rutsche abgerissen haben. Obwohl ich die neue eventuell cooler finde!

Schade das die blaue Torborutsche nicht mehr da ist. Die war so cool und Platz hätten die theoretisch auch. Die neuen Racer haben mich nicht so überzeugt. Da fehlt noch eine, die den Kick gibt😢.

@@tropicalislands also die Racer sind cool. 😊Wenn ich dort bin rutsche ich die auch. Die ist außergewöhnlich, was auch toll ist. Ich sage immer: es sollen min. 5 Rutschen sein. Eine schnelle, eine klassische, eine Außergewöhnliche, eine mit Reifen und eine gemütliche
@@tropicalislands außerdem braucht man ja eine Rutsche, die von den 5, die ein Publikumsmagnet ist und das war bei mir die Blaue Torborutsche. Denn ich habe gehört, dass die die höchste Rutsche Deutschlands war und das die krass sein sollte. Und nur wegen der blauen bin ich ins Tropical Island gefahren. Seit dem die blaue weg ist, ist auch der Magnet ins Island zufahren nicht so stark. Aber es ist trotzdem sehr schön dort 😆😊
Ich war da mal super Wasserpark hab mit meinem Freund übernachtet und auch extrem gute Wildwasserrutsche wir werden im Oktober wieder hin gehen und übernachten

Lediglich der Aufprall war wirklich ziemlich hart und es gab immer mal Zwischenfälle durch Idioten, die jemandem hinten rein gerutscht sind...

This seems like an absurdly Japanese thing, yet also the kind of thing that would only get built in America....
Yet its actually German!?!?!!?? 🤨🫡
The hall was built by a german start-up which tried to built an airship for lifting cargo, creatively called "CargoLifter" in 1997. But after delays the company was bankrupt. Germans have a love-hate relationship with airships I guess. So I guess this company bought the hall for a cheap price to build a waterpark in it.
