thats because you don't play shooters at high fps.
@@bergieoldschool I've tried. Doesn't matter to me. I grew up on Halo CE on CRTs and then topping the CoD leaderboards on old 720p displays that weren't more than 60Hz.
@@Galiant2010 my point was not if you were good or not, with or without high hz. My point is that you can clearly see a difference between 60hz and 120 or 144hz when you play a shooter like CS or cod.
@@Galiant2010 I was born in 89 I also played on an old crt tv. GPU has evolved hand in hand with the display. you won't even unlock your build full potential. In the end, you do you.
The chillest man that ever lived
Im so excited for my parts to get delivered
i`ve had my PC since Christmas and didn´t know that, thank you :)
Ahahaha 😂 same when i got my high refresh rate monitor. I was like, damn this cant be it. I knew something was off
I’ve had mine for 6 years. But it was a prebuilt cause I don’t like messing shit up. The setting was right though 😂
He sounds like the most calm person
I love your voice it's so soothing ngl
W. Never knew i had been playing at 60hz
I didn't know how little I knew about these kinda things about computers until I found your channel. I just opened my settings and sure enough 60Hz refresh rate, and I got my computer when Covid was going on. D: You got yourself a subscriber 'cause there's a lot of stuff I apparently still don't know.
I love your voice its so calming :)
Good think i found it soon as i get the monitor.
I've had my prebuilt pc for a year and there's no way I just learned about this from a YT short. Thank you so much man
I don't know why but it feels like this guy is at peace on a whole other level
This exact thing happened to me. I had a PC built for about a year and half, my friend was looking at it and we were talking specs. He then asked if my monitor was any good and I said yeah 165hz, it should be a pretty decent monitor why? Then he opened the settings and changed it from 60-165. Instant eye opener, changed my life.
bro your the most chill shorts creator since most are yelling and being hyped
The way this guy talks is so soothing
I actually figured this out because of this short lol. I had my 144 hz monitor on 60 hz for a year.
just two mounts for me
Same here, but i was using it like that for about 2 years if not more, just randomly found this setting when got bored and began changing some display settings lol. But it was fine in games and i had normal FPS up to 144, only windows and browser and etc were 60, but youtube videos became way better :DD
I love how a lot of games tell you how many hz your monitor is but still people don't release they didn't change it
Bro spawned in his house😭😭🤣
THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I got a 240 hz monitor for my first pc and never really found a problem with it but just did this and I was running at 59.94 and not 240 hz this whole time 😭🙏
I had it like that for 2 months until I saw a video
learned something new that was helpfull thanks dude
Thanks for the info!!
I did thay exact same thing! In fact it took me 3 different pc's to realise i could raise my refresh rate to something like 200hz.
It made such a difference with games as well!
Thank You ! My 4k monitor was set to 29hz. it was so slow. Again this dude saved the day !
This channel never fails to unexpectedly give me ASMR
reminded me to change mine . lol thanks
The amount of people that I taught this too is actually insane
Next month all the components I need to build my PC will arrive. It'll be my first time assembling one. When I watch these videos, it gives me the creeps 😅You should do a tutorial on how to configure your PC properly without blowing it up.😂👍🏻
went from 120 to 360. I've had the monitor for... one week! thanks for this timely sage advice
