I was really pleasantly surprised when this was dropped and I will admit that Blinks all over the world were apprehensive when Jisoo turns coming up because we know the other three were fluent in english while Jisoo at that time was quite shy to speak it but then she nailed it 😬
This is a famous performance in the Kpop world. This was originally created by the girls for their monthly evaluation performance when they were trainees. They did the arrangement and Jennie and Lisa wrote the rap lyrics. This was on a Korean TV show hosted by J Y Park (black vest) who is also the CEO of JYP Entertainment, checkout the Twice girl group. Due to the fact that JYP and YG cooperate, it's likely J Y saw the original performance and requested they perform it on his TV show. This was just after they debut in 2016, causing a sensation worldwide.
