I have had the reel for a while.
I had mine apart as was curious, like a lot of the features.
Have been very happy with its casting of lighter weights and in general really enjoy using it.
I wasnt the biggest fan of those style handle grips, so changed them.
It has been surprisingly good👍

Thanks to you I've found some good ryobi reels and some rods on AliExpress since they no longer skar in America as you pointed out a while ago. I've tried yo steer more people your way fir history and how to maintain stuff.

You should see if Seasir will send you a megacuda to review. I don't think there's too many reviews out on it and I've heard good things. One of the reviews on Ali says that it actually uses the frame and side plate from a reel being sold for $375 in the US. While definitely possible I'm not so sure I believe that.

I saw the same review. If I remember correctly he said he is professional in maintainance/repair of these kind of products. I bought the megacuda few weeks ago. So far the reviews I have seen are very positive on it.
@@janneliimatainen6186 I also just bit the bullet and ordered the double handle version. Since it was on sale I couldn't pass it up at 25 bucks. It's interesting because it's a metal frame with a deep spool and oversized handle but looks like it is on the smaller side.
I got a decent heavy rod off Ali for 20 so going to see if I can't make a $45 swimbait/catfishing setup. 🤣
They're good for casting some lighter end lures like bfs fishing.

Hey Dennis thank you for another great video. Can you advise me on a robust fixed spool reel that I can use fishing very snaggy rough ground in the sea. I’m not looking for a new reel or something that light I’m looking for something strong and hardy with plenty of guts. Ideally no anti reverse setting.

Yes - any in the Penn Senator line or the Daiwa Sealine series will fit your needs

May i ask what do you prefer or recommended rod for that reel?
7 to 8 foot casting rod with medium action would be best for this reel

This is your basic freshwater baitcaster Probably about 150 yards of 8 pound line

To call something a review, you have too actually review it. Not break it down and tell us your opinion off it. How good does the brake system work on it, how good is the drag, the back lash, how smooth does it throw, what is the actual line reel in speed per rotation? Do you know what a review means now?
I guess review means different things to different folks. This one was intended to show the mechanicals and how the reel is made.
