Ecko, The arches being ghost blocks make it so you can pass through a 2x2 doorway, Normally in vanilla if you wanted to do arches you'd use upside down stairs and the smallest walkable doorway you can get with those is a 3x2.
You are correct! This is the exact reason why there are no collision boxes for arch blocks (2x1, 2x2 doorways) I just posted a longer reply explaining in more detail but it seems the comment might have gotten flagged and held for the review...
Agreed, because I have a texture pack that I love. But when I use blocks from different t add-ons it doesn’t match the textures from the texture pack. So I wanna buy the add-ons but if things don’t work together it defeats the purpose.

With me the blocks from a couple of these add-ons do not match the texture pack I am using. So it leaves me and other people like me with the problem. Should I get an add-on that’s based off blocks if it’s not going to fit into my world.
Yea se I have about 20 or so add-ons and they work about 5 at a time when the perfect world for me would be they all work at the same time that way I can have my dream world buuuuut nooooooo they get together and try and end one another....it suuuuucks
I do just wanna say that I have been wanting to get on the market placed and make really good quality addons and I wanna make sure I don't make the same mistakes as these other addons for instance I have been working on a furniture addon and I have gave it some nice features! Like resource packs work and the blocks will change textures as well I also use scripts soooo my addon has connecting blocks like my sofas they connect like stairs!
Wasn’t that interested until I saw the other crafting tables And holy moly I have my card in hand, fr that book crafting table looks SOOOO good, if there’s another thing that is also in the same level, I will insta buy
This addon has the most complex blocks i’ve seen so far. It’s executed so well but I prefer more blocky things. Check out More Blocks by Rare Loot and Furniture by XP Games. Maybe check out the Celebration Foods addon too. It uses vanilla foods to make beautiful 3D plates of food and drinks you can place and eat in your world.
Wow, I really like this one, it will go good with all the wool and the colorful concrete add-ons I have. I like that this one isn't over modern, these blocks fit in vanilla Minecraft pretty well. Edit- spoke too soon, the solar panels kill it for me, they don't fit with anything else. Why?
Hey Ecko, whenever I see an addon with a custom stairs or sloppy blocks like the roof, I always wonder if you can walk up on it like stairs. Bcs I remember it used to be impossible to make custom blocks with a stair hit box that allows us to walk up the stairs. Those kind of addons used to have stairs that acts like a full solid block

This is actually nice but my opinion is that the skyrim mash up has some of the best looking block ever. I don't think so but I would like this to be compatible w/skyrim mash up pack.
I found a problem with dealing with blocks from different add-ons. If you are using a texture pack, the blocks from add-ons do not match your texture pack. The blocks match vanilla Minecraft but not the texture packs.
That's not an addon problem, that's a minecraft problem. When you create a block you have to set the texture for the block. That means if you want an special shape from an addon to match with a different texture, the block have to be re-skined again. So you are getting 2 blocks with the same shape and diferent texture. And there are a LOT of textures, that would be a lot of blocks to download. Texture have defined shapes for each block so unless every block have the same shape is not possible to have a global reskin for everything.
@@Dovahkiin507yea I’ve come to understand this! Still represents a problem where add-on blocks don’t match the texture packs we use. Which makes it less appealing to buy add-on’s for the new blocks. This is my overall point, that I found out when I got a few add-ons for their new blocks. Oh I never said it was a problem with add-on, I was saying it’s a problem between add-ons and texture packs not matching up.

@@eduardo_smartz ohhhhhhhhhhh, I didnt know this information. All the packs I downloaded off the market place do not react to my texture pack. Im also using a texture pack that really has a unique look. It is called BlockPixel. I love this pack and only play with this texture pack.
Just be aware, you can't use this addon on a realms server because it requires experimental settings to be on. I really wish the marketplace was better at informing of us of those types of details so we don't but addons that end up being useless to you after you buy them.
Annoying how many of the blocks you misused, the “corner block” 11:10 is to make a diagonal wall. Or as with the caged glow stone, and most of the building blocks. Great video regardless, convinced me to purchase it and try it for myself.
This is so frustrating!!!! I bought this add on literally the moment it was released, it seems like an absolutely amazing collection!!! Unfortunately though, I have never once been able to try it out. It has only ever shown me either a bugged out book or literally nothing at all. I have tried over and over, but I have not even once been able to access it from any world I have tried it on. It looks so fantastic, too!!!
@@ecko Edited to update below: I’ve tried it both on my pc and on switch. The most recent time I got a bugged out version of their info book and nothing else. I’m quite sure that that was after their most recent update. Also I pretty much only play single player but on realms either way (way better game experience, and I can play across devices) so I think I’ve only tried it there. I’m going to try it again right now, and I’ll definitely update my comment either way ☺️ Edited to add: I’m not sure what is happening with this add-on for me 🤷🏻♀️ I’m going to uninstall both this add on and my Minecraft as well just in case, then reinstall from the launcher and the shop ☺️ I’ll try it again and see if it works this time, both on an existing world, and I’ll try a new one as well. I suppose if all of that doesn’t work I’m going to try taking it out of realms and running it through those steps again. I am also planning on testing out both just this add-on alone and with others. I’ll update this again with my results, just in case this might help someone else as well ☺️ Also, to anyone who might read this: If there’s anything I’m missing here, or anything I’m doing wrong, please feel free to let me know! Do the mini blocks act like stairs in the way they are placed? Can you change their orientation depending on where your looking and what direction you are facing or do they always stay fixed in the bottom corner
For those that may not know, add-ons disable achievements. Adding them to your world forces the world into Creative mode. Which is what actually disables achievements. This really sucks because I play on Xbox Series X and there's no way of convert Creative worlds back into Survival mode with achievements. Believe me. I've been trying for the last year with test worlds and realms. No method works for Xbox Series X and PS5 users.

He isn't promoting it. He is reviewing it. Big difference between the two. If he was simply promoting it, he'd simply be pushing people to buy it no matter what. He wouldn't be taking his time to provide thoughts on individual items if he was just promoting the add-on. The whole point of a review is to go through something and then provide your thoughts to others so they can determine if it is worth the money. That is exactly what has happened in this video. To suggest it is promotion is quite ignorant
I think you need to understand you can download FREE ones yourself, this way you can determine if it’s worth it or not. PAID addons you can no doubt this, therefore I review these for the community to see if they are worth their hard earned money. On top of that console players can’t download FREE addons. So maybe you should educate yourself a little before commenting 👍

One of my biggest gripes with add-ons is the compatibility with other add-ons. I don't hate them, but I wish more thought was put into it by mojang

The FTB team is kinda getting there, pretty sure that tinkers construct is now compatible with storage drawers

This addon goes really well with the more blocks addon and most of the furniture addons. But it really makes a difference when building.

With the candle holder use a lantern instead it fits perfectly
This pack is actually quite interesting to me so many add ons all about making Minecraft easier this is just purely for fun without breaking the game

Could you review the addon "Mob in Bottle" addon? I thought it looked interesting.
