@Thomask Klabbers
Nepal must change the national animal. we should make rhinos or the tiger to be the national animal of Nepal.
Please support us.
look for the video call --> Rhino Or Tiger? Nepal lets pick the new national animal of Nepal
the video is on youtube.
we people of Nepal must choose a new national animal in Nepal. I want the tiger to be the national animal of Nepal.
Tiger is brave and aggressive and independent just like the Nepali people. The cow represents Old Nepal and racism. we must replace a cow with a tiger.
Tiger or the rhino suit Nepal very well.
please watch the video and support us Mr Thomas Klabbers.
Interesting...just wondering how does Gai represent racism? Bhaag is the national animal of India, so if i had a choice i would choose Rhino over tiger, but I think cow is a good choice as Nepal could survive without rhino or tiger, but without cow, this would cause so many problems for Nepal and Nepali people. Cow is gentle and friendly and giving so much - like Nepali People - she is like a mother figure
@@NewZman23 that's because non-hindus can't even kill a cow in Nepal for food. this is blatant racism in Nepal.
@@diiliipraii oh thanks for the explanation brother. I knew this was the case in some states in India, but didn't realise it was the same in Nepal. I have learned something new. But I wouldn't call it racism or racial discrimination as it is not about a particular race of people but about religion. To me it is religious discrimination. I thought the new Nepali constitution declared Nepal as a 'secular" state, which means, religion and religious practices are not controlled by government laws which was not the case with the old Panchayat and Monarchy system. But then again India is officially a "secular state", but Modi still allows discrimination against Muslims and Christians. I guess it is a subject with many different viewpoints.🙏
@@NewZman23 the worst thing is if some non-hindus Nepali kill a cow for food, that person would be thrown into jail for 13 years.
This kind of policy and law was made by the Brahmin and Chettris leaders, so call high caste Hindus. Can you now see the beginning of deeply embedded racism in Nepal?
@@diiliipraii yes, I believe it's wrong if a non-Hindu is jailed for killing a cow or bull for food. And I believe it's wrong that in today's Nepal the Hindu caste system, although officially outlawed by the Nepali ( and Indian) government, is still practiced by many people in India and Nepal and used to the Brahmin Chettri advantage and to the disadvantage of the lower castes. This is a big cultural and religious problem for India and Nepal and I believe, although the caste system in Nepal is slowly dying out, especially in the cities, where you can find more educated people it will still take a few more generations for the system to die out in the villages with less educated people. But I still don't see this as racism, because it is about religion and not race. Brahmins and Chettris are not a separate "race" of people. So I still say, with respect brother, that this is religious discrimination and not racial discrimination. Both of which I find very wrong and I also find it very wrong that in today's Nepali society, a non-hindu can be jailed for killing a cow for food. This is shameful of the Nepali government and to me it shows a weakness in the current government that a Hindu religious belief about sacred cows can be used to jail a person who is not Hindu. To me religion is a personal and private thing that should not be used by any government to control the people. It is also a farce by the Nepali government that it is not actually against the law in Nepal to eat beef, but it is against the law to kill a cow or bull to eat. This makes a joke of the power of government and shows that they are weak, being controlled by the upper caste Brahmins and Chettris and not by the common people, what ever their religion.. I believe in time, this law against non-Hindus killing a cow or bull for food will change. Me personally, I love cows, but am not Hindu. Is it written in the Geeta that a non-Hindu should be punished for killing a cow? And does the caste system come from the writings in the Geeta? I think not. I believe the caste system came about long after the Geeta was written. Remember Nepal is a very young democracy and practices and customs that have been around for thousands of years take time to change. I believe there are plenty of good, honest people in the Nepali government who are genuinely trying to to the best for all Nepali people, whatever their religion, but they are up against some powerful people who are just there because they are high caste and wealthy and are afraid of losing some of their power and wealth. Namaste brother. Jai Nepal.
