Thank you for your honesty. Brain tumours are cruel, I know from experience. My husband died from one. God always answers prayer just sometimes not the way we want. That's the mystery.

What does it mean to pray with my body? Thank you for the podcast. So very much. Just listened on a walk woth my dogs. I have had many of the same thoughts as he did but wasn't brave enough to tell people. Like, when I went through so much mental trauma from a breakdown that I thought I'd die. And yet, here I am. I crave his voice and direction because he is a life saver.
A wonderful encouraging and uplifting podcast, I will certainly listen to this again.
Pete has been a grwat role model in Godliness raw honesty and inspiration. Thank you both.

This has been so helpful- for a year I’ve been in pain waiting for hip operations but also experiencing episodes that no matter what tests I’ve had Drs( including my husband and son) remain baffled as to their cause and therefore treatment!! A supernumerary Minister, I now find I can barely leave the house, and although I ‘gave all the time in the world’ find it hard to pray more than crying out to God, often through tears, and not just for myself but for family friends and world situations. Hearing Pete speak about how he dealt with his wife’s illness has been so helpful, and holding on to all I know about God to be true even in this situation, and the verse He gives keeps me going! Psalm 33: 20- The Passion .”….His Wraparound Presence will strengthen us….” Thank you!
Absolutely wonderful interview with God's perfect timing to put the link and some of the quotes in my video talking about Healing and Prayer, trying to convince evangelical brethren who are powerful believers of faith healing, that we need to be more HONEST and truthful and explain these matters to the flock. And nobody does it better than Pete! I love your remark John, that prayer is holding God's hand, not twisting it!
PS my wife too has been suffering from seizures since we got married 40 years ago. It kept us humble and in contact. She manages it better over the past 10+ years by simply taking a strong relaxant whenever she feels shaky.
Proclaim this wholesome sanity from the rooftops!
