I still don't understand why this story isn't being made into a movie. If they could do the effects well and make Alucard as badass as in the anime, it would be a likely-favorite movie for me.

It's not about physical strength, if Alucard respects someone or not. Like I said it's all about will and character. Anderson may have lost in a battle of physical strength and healing power, but he never cowered before Alucard...quite the opposite: he's eager to have another go. Same with Hellsing, she may be be weak physically but her willpower makes her fit as a master to Alucard. And Seras Victoria , too, her determination to live on in her final moments made her fit as a companion.
Where the f can i buy all the Helsing movies/series? :S

(I know, spooky isn't it) Sorry, I just realised this has become a history lesson, my bad.
I personally love vampires like this. Not the stuck up thinking they're al lbad just because they sparkle types. Vampires are meant to be bloodsuckers and I absolutely love those kind.

I have seen the first epersiode of the Hellsing OVA series. Maybe it was the translation, but I was somewhat disapointed. There wasn't any Dracula's witting comments and insults. The fighting scences were also disapointment as well and the fight scence could have been better. I hope as the story unfolds more in the new series. They will show how both Draucla and Anderson hate each with their insults. I love it when the aruge you and fight each other.

I finally found the true first DVD of the Hellsing OVA and it's not the 30 mintue Preview. I haven't seen it all, but what I have see. OVA series kick ass. And it makes sense and it's funny. Alucard is still the badass! :)
If you want someone in a movie SIMILAR to Alucard,see V for Vendetta. "V" bears a lot of resemblance to Alucard as far as the hat, the badassness and being able to take lots of bullets and keep moving.
If they DO turn Hellsing into a movie, and use the manga storyline like they should, theres no way they could make Alucard evil looking enough in person, theyd ruin his voice for all Hellsing fans AND that movie would be eight hours long (if youve ever read the manga, you know why)

Alucard is using bullets with a high content of silver, and very holy silver that is as its from the Manchester Chatedral. The silver reacts with the gouls allery to silver and turn it to ash. In OVA 5 one of Milleniums soldiers are hit by Alexander Andersons bayonetts and turned to ash aswell. But to the part were they don't turn to ash, it's often because they are not killed with silver but with kicks and blows from Seras or Alucard wich does not react with thier allergy.
@DTSephiroth You shouldnt compare this Alucard to Castlevania's Alucard , cause this one is Dracula and Castlevania's Alucard is just his son .

This is from the new series called Hellsing Ultimate, it's geared more closely to the manga than the series was. All the scenes in this video is taken from the first disc and there are now four discs of the series out.

It's all on the first disc that's shown in this video. They no longer have it divided into episodes, at least on the first disc. It runs for about 50-55 minutes long and is great.

Yes, hellsing is really great. You can't but help to like Alucard, if you like dark anti-hero's. It's awesome and I'd recommend you give it a try.

it depends on what u like action romance comedy sports theres something for everyone i like action but i would recommend u watch Death Note it is like no other anime i have seen . Hellsing anime and the Ova,if u like a mix of comedy and action One Piece and Bleach are perfect and then there is the one everyone watches Naruto strike out the fillers. and there's that gruesome good stuff like Claymore season two is coming up.
