I think that there is always room in my daily lineup for these Balm Dot Coms because they just hit different. They feel more nourishing and protecting than any of the lip butters and oils I use and love, and thank goodness for the new packaging! 🙌
Thank god! I hated the new formula and loved the thick formula. I just hope they bring back the cherry! They discontinued it when they went vegan and it had the best tint.
I'm on medication that dehydrates me chronically. I need lanolin in my life and I respect the vegans, but a lot of the trendy lip butters and balms don't do enough. Jack Black spf 25 lip balm and Rose Bud Perfume Co strawberry lip balms are my ride or dies under $10.
I still have the berry flavor old packaging in my purse and I do use it (love the smell), for me though I love the Korean spf lip balms for in my purse to protect my lips over my color 😅, rhoto metholatum melty
IDK if this is gonna dominate the way it once did, but I feel like it's a product that's been around long enough that it's gonna be a staple - it's the "my lips are feeling dry around the house" product. The demand was INTENSE for the old formula, which tells me that maybe it's not gonna be viral again... But it's still an absolute hit. I'd like to try it out soon - I didn't hop on the Glossier train until after they changed the formula!
Ngl, it’s okayy… but I prefer something like LANEIGE or e.l.f.’s lip oil. Weird choices, and I don’t know if I got the new or old formula, but the Glossiers kinda mid. Again, I don’t know if I’m speaking from the old or new formula. And they separate…
@@love.hw4nglanolin is incredible for very dry lips. The OG formula of the lip balms had lanolin, but it was reformulated to be vegan and it was so shit so the OG was brought back. Glossier is just one brand that makes balms with lanolin, but Laneige and lip oils don't do enough for me because they don't contain it. I'm on medication that dehydrates me chronically. There's a formula for everyone!
I love Sara Happ Lip Slip. I have the squeeze tube and the pot. Nice and thicker formula, great staying power. I find so many other lip balms are thin and runny.
After bite beauty the daily lip mask in agave went away from Sephora I was heartbroken as it was my ride or die everyday lip treatment I tried 3 others than they finally got these and I'm in love with birthday cake and coconut
My $4 Elf lip balm is amazing in both quality and price, so i dont think ill be going back to the high priced lippies when i am thoroughly satisfied with the performance of one for $4.
Idk. If the rest of their catalog was more interesting than I think more people would for sure go back to hyping this but Idk if it's a bit late for them.
I just got my new Clinique Black Honey lip oil in today....I am curious though. However, with how I loose my lip balms I tend to go for the cheaper options. I use the Thrive Cosmetics night collagen slip ay night. Birthday Cake sounds great though @
All my petrolatum balms just tend to accumulate in the cooler with no use. Too much hustle, they are runny if left in room temperature and too thick right out of the cooler. Therefore you can use it only at home and have to bring in separately from all the other stuff
You’re not saying it wrong! Petrolatum and petroleum jelly are two different words for the same thing. Petrolatum is the ingredient name, petroleum jelly is the name commonly used for products where petrolatum is the only ingredient.
Ugh I don’t like that glossier - al. all. it’s so slippery and greasy that it’s gone off the lips before you put the cap back on. I stand firmly behind Ole Hendrickson as undisputed champ across all balm, oil, etc categories. Strawberry Sorbet for the win, followed by the original orange creamsicle type. And for a dense balm, nothing on earth compares to Dior Lip Glow 001. Perfection. Ive purchased like 20 in the last couple years but wearing faithfully for 10 years. Coral is almost as beautiful, not the poppy or red coral / just the original. Never got so many compliments as the Coral.
Not exactly. Petroleum jelly is a by product of oil extraction, not of gasoline refining. We’ve actually had petroleum jelly for longer than we’ve had gasoline.
In chemistry, gasoline is in the benzene group, petrolatum is not. It's like saying you can make a martini with rubbing alcohol. They are not the same. Learning the basics will get you farther than repeating buzzwords from fear mongering groups that spread this kind of nonsense.
Oh, yuck, petrolatum. I'm allergic. Guess this is another product that's just not for me. Also, NGL, I don't get this kind of applicator. I feel like my lips are too small, so i always end up with excess product at the corners of my mouth. I prefer a doe foot or a stick situation.
Yay! They brought the lanolin back!!! Thanks- I had no idea they went back to the original formula. It was my fav lip balm. Lanolips is also great! 🎉

Sometimes, a girl just needs a classic! 🎂
Summer Fridays evaporates so fast and then ultimately dries out my lips. Glossier lip products have more staying power for me.

@@sumlemlanolin, or at least products with lanolin, dehydrate my lips (e.g. aquaphor), but i’m so happy they would so well for you!
Love that white eyeliner on you!
Thank you!! ❤
Please give the info on the mascara you're using here? Looks so great!

You best believe I grabbed the new strawberry and have been using it - I haven't swapped out, I just have 'em all now.

Thank you for posting! I ran to our neighbourhood’s Sephora in Calgary. Love love you ladies 😘😘
I'll have to try this one. Topicals is my favorite right now. It stays on for a few hours, even after I eat.
it needs a little more pigment and some better flavors for my need. but i do like what they have out rn. i think we need a berry one tho
They will win
Well to be honest I can't survive winter without a carmex so yeah, maybe this won't turn into 'the' holy grail, but it will surely turn into a classic
I need to know what mascara you have on in this video. Your lashes are fire 🔥 ❤️🔥

I will be sticking with Summer Fridays Birthday Cake because it has tiny shimmer/glitter particles! That’s what matters to me! Lol.
The birthday cake balm from glossier also has glitter! I have both the glossier and summer fridays balm and they're both amazing! 🤍
Truthfully I don’t like any type of balm, gloss or oil unless I’m not wearing lipstick. I have a kush balm that I wear at night. That’s kinda it.
What lip are you wearing? So pretty 😍
Nothing is going to take my Olehenriksen lip treatment out of my hand and off my lips. Nothing else has done for me what this product has.

I'd love to see makeup products list the PH levels🤓
Like ur liner!! Love u gals ❤❤❤❤

i will always be a lip gloss and lip oil girlie but gossier, laniege and summer fridays might just change my mind
I wanna know too! 😅
I just wish for a lip balm that is fine to use with Malassezia prone skin.
Yeah, I'm not thrilled with my Summer Fridays Vanilla Beige... I know, shocker!! Glossier all the way!!
What’s the difference between petroleum and petroleum?
I feel like big companies are trying to take away from the smaller companies like kikiz and boss by launching all kinds of lip glosses
Never understood the LOVE for the summer fridays butter balm!? I didnt love them.
I didn’t know I was saying petrolatum wrong I was saying pa-troll-eum

Petro-lay-tum is the purified petroleum jelly a bi product of gasoline

I’m from uk and we say PEH-TRO-LEE-UMM 😂 it’s so strange hearing it said differently ❤
That’s how we say petroleum too but she’s saying petrolatum which is a completely different word
I will not give this the time of day because it has lanolin and I am allergic
Isn’t this just flavored Vaseline?
I'm allergic so ..
I mean no offence, but is it just me who hears “petrolatum” instead of “petroleum”???- am I going insane??
They’re two different words she’s saying petrolatum
Excuse me what😂 petro-lottum?!?!?🤣🤣
Is it not pronounced pi-troll-e-um? Or am I thinking of something different?
