I think Blackpool is beautiful despite some of the very gritty, downtrodden areas. I think the flats, buildings are beautiful, nothing like this in the US. And boy did it rain in New York, all day! I also noticed snow 🌨️❄️ in Cumbria!

Once went in the happy Scott’s bar I was very weary a bit scared lol some right “beer monsters” in but ended up having a really good time. Really friendly lot ..just shows never judge a book by its cover ....😊

Love the way the Tower seems to change colour with the weather, grey in your video today Stephen. Honestly prefer the rain myself but I use a walking stick and have mobility problems so clear icy days can be a problem. Some of the buildings you see on this video are beautiful and very original. I cannot believe how vast Blackpool,and all the. Rows of streets there are. Have to say would definately get lost, saying that may not as would have the tower as landmark. Love how it peeps out from most places one is at ! Shame. Shops have closed down, and so so many properties could do with a lick of paint. Enjoyed your video as you cruise in your starbus. I used to prefer cold, dry and icy and snowy weather compared to wet weather. But now because I ride a motorbike to work all year round I prefer the rain.

Full of people who have been moved away from the place where they are from. The landlord's-lady's have no choice but to fill the rooms. I have stayed in a few places what have been busy with the lads and lasses who have moved in and have created a good community in the hotel

Another great video Stephen. Blackpool is what I call a traditional resort still having the saucy postcards hopefully 😂 Who remembers those. It has been a while since I have been. Stayed at a really nice family run B&B we would stay out in their front garden I the evening having a drink or 2 chatting to them very friendly. Maybe in a future video look at B&B’s that don’t get the recognition they deserve home made cooking and lovely decor on the outside
I lived in BP for 12 years I left in 2009, best thing I did, it was a shit hole then and it looks even worse now, cheap pound shops, bargain booze, betting shops, cafes and boarded up properties.

Friends of mine had a hotel in Barton avenue, Midland Hotel. It was painted bright yellow, Ron and Ann Beach. they sold it in the mid 2000's .

That's right. The tram lines used to turn into Princess Street before being tarmacced over in the late 60's.
