I remember the first comeback. It kept showing those two kids because they did a little good luck motion with their hands and they ended up being on the news when they won

All these are great, but that 1980 NLCS and the Harper grand slam stand out. Good stuff. I think I have a Nino Espinosa sighting!

Just a little context on the 2nd one. Sure a 3 run deficit may not seem like a lot but the deal was Nolan Ryan with the lead in the 8th inning was something like 99-0 or 99-1 or some ridiculous record like that and the Phils not only ran him in this inning but they look the lead. Then they gave it back only to take the lead again in the 9th and won it eventually. This was the game that put them into the World Series. This bar none was the greatest NLCS of all time. 5:50 is the game where Pirates announcer Jim Rooker said that if the Pirates lose he'll walk home. In this game light hitting Steve Jeltz joined the likes of Mickey Mantle and Eddie Murray by hitting homeruns from both sides of the plate. LOL

The greatest comeback in Phillies history will be when we overcome the idiocy of guys like Gabe Kapler, Matt Klentak, and Andy MacPhail.

Usually it's the other way around. Especially with our bullpen.

I know this isn't Phillies but it is Philadelphia baseball related. In the 1929 World Series the Athletics came back from down 8 runs and scored 10 in the 7th inning and would win the game 10-8. They would then go onto win game 5 in the bottom of the 9th, scoring three runs that inning to win 3-2 and winning the world series over the Cubs

There might be 10 volumes worth of videos of teams coming back against the Phillies just from the past couple seasons. This vid is a breath of fresh air

I know the Dodgers are tired of being on the short end of Phillies comebacks. This video began and ended with a comeback against the Dodgers.

Those 1989-1992 Phillies weren't very good, but they had some interesting moments. The Steve Jeltz game and the Dodger comeback are high up on the list.

That comeback against the Dodgers was on August 21st, 1990. I was just 3+ months old. I wish I could go back in time.

On the exact 10th anniversary of that comeback against the Dodgers in L.A., a minor league team in the Appalachian Rookie League came back in the 9th from a similar deficit to win by what I think was the same score, 12-11. The one difference was that they were the home team and thus walked off once they went ahead. The Phillies, playing on the road, still had to hold that lead in the bottom of the 9th.

Fun Fact: Phillies GM Lee Thomas left this game early and had to appear in kangaroo court. Also, according to John Kruk the Phillies biggest worry was missing room service at the hotel.
