Boric acid is most often used in pesticides, and can be found in tablet form, liquid form, powder form and in various types of traps. It kills insects by absorbing into them, poisoning their stomachs, affecting their metabolism and abrading their exoskeletons. It’s far more likely to kill pests than borax is, due to its finer grain, which is harder for pests to detect and easier for them to ingest.
The boric acid lasts forever. I refresh the peanut butter about every couple months to keep them coming to it. If in doubt pour old out and refresh boric acid and peanut butter.
Wow that is so awsome... i always try and make a food trap just setting it in the middle of my kitchen but my damn dog always eat the food from the middle of the floor befor i can walk in an spray them with combat raid spray and never really wanted to set that kind of trap on kitchen counter because of the poison spray but man im going to try this in my problem areas ... thank u so much for posting and sharing

Will Borax work too? Or specifically Boric Acid?

Yes. Cut the hole big enough. At least 1 inch long and 1/2 wide. As in the video.
Does this kill the eggs ?

What about the boric acid tablets
It could work. The powder sticks to them and dries them out.
