I was watching a youtuber play it and they were in the part with a ton of endoskeletons. One of the endo's just quickly zoomed in the players face and holy shit I was not expecting that. My body just automatically fell back on its back while I was sitting and I have never gotten scared like that in my entire life. My face was blank as well while flopping.
I love At Dead Of Night, it’s honestly my comfort game. I know that’s kinda weird because it’s a horror game, but I just feel a sense of comfort whenever I watch a video about it like this. But to be honest, I’ve never actually played At Dead Of Night before😂😂 I’ve always wanted to play it, I even got a Steam gift card recently so that I could get it, but I realized my computer is too old, it’s a Windows 7 computer so it can’t run a game like At Dead Of Night. I can’t afford a new computer at the moment, so I guess I just have to keep watching play throughs of the game here on TH-cam. I know there’s gonna be a Nintendo Direct livestream today, so maybe they’ll announce that At Dead Of Night is coming to Nintendo Switch? Probably not because I feel like they wouldn’t be able to make a console version of At Dead Of Night, it’ll probably just stay exclusively a PC game, but it would be cool if they brought it to consoles like Nintendo Switch or PS4 for example.
The reason the game runs so well is because the entire hotel is stored on a single 4.1GB video file. The game just skips ahead to different chapters to play movement.
You wanna know the best part of this series when mark did it? And I rewatched it? Is that I still get jump scared, even when I know when it’s gonna happen.
Mark never did figure out that he could lock Jimmy inside rooms by hiding in the wardrobe. He always hid in the bathroom which is basically a 50/50 chance of being caught.
Is it wrong that when I see Amy's dead body I'm thinking, "That's a shit ton of blood for blunt forced trauma." Not saying it can't happen, but I'd expect more physical wounds to justify it.
