@Vinay Prasad Please help and explain 1 thing to me.
In Stage 4 Prostate Cancer (determined by Biopsy) that has not spread to the Testes or Bones, even with surgically removing the entire Prostate gland, why is the 5 year survival rate only 30% ??
Lab shows PSA at 14
Are there any newer treatments (in the past 5 years)? Or is the best treatment Radiation and Chemo ?

@Vinay Prasad sorry I asked more than 1 question but I MUST know this also, so far my husband has only dealt with a Urologist for Stage 4 Prostate Cancer, were waiting for the results of PET Scan later this week, shouldn't he be referred to an Oncologist at some point? If so, when?
Good to know that we still have sharp doctors who do not drink the Kook-Aid from the FDA and medical associations, but take the time to find the truth and put their
patients first.
