Very succinct description of the process, thanks. No excessive chat, extraneous information or waffle.

    Excellent tutorial. Two additional points:
    1) I used a tupperware bin filled with water to detect the tiny pinprick leaks in my bladder. Every time I put the bladder back in, it leaked again, and there were more holes! I figured out that I was probably putting in little holes by how the bladder was being pushed onto the edges of the tupperware bin. At least that's what I think was happening. A less aggressive method that actually worked better for me was to lay out a large tarp and use soapy water on the bladder, looking for the distinctive bubbles that form, then drying and circling the hole with a sharpie, and at the end rinsing the whole thing off well with water to get rid of the soap.
    2) There were some pinprick holes that I just could not for the life of me find, and these were at the very ends of the bladder where the pressure just never got high enough to make bubbles in the soapy water. I had to really isolate the ends by twisting them off and squeezing them to see that there were indeed holes there. I've heard a better solution to find hard-to-detect holes is to leave the bladder in the kite and then inflate the kite up to a very high pressure and then put soapy water on the leading edge or strut while it's in the kite. This allows for a higher pressure and apparently makes it easier to find the holes.
Final note: I believe my holes were a result of sand that had become trapped within the bladder. There was more than a few grains rolling around in there, and this is an easy way to make a little hole if it is compressed against the bladder when the kite is folded, or probably at any time. It is worth it to make sure sand never gets into your valve, and if you do have to take your bladder out, inspect it for sand.

Good luck finding tiny holes with a bucket of water or soapy water. that never worked for me. The skin of your face or the back of your hand, can feel very faint air leaks. You have to do this inside of course, with no drafts. It's way cleaner, you find way more holes, and overall way faster.
And yeah, make sure your leading edge doesn't have sand inside, or worse, tiny shards stuck in the fabric that will put more holes in the bladder right after you reinstall it.
