Whats up mga bees! In this lesson: We define what are vectors and investigate a simple way of how to add them. This physics video tutorial focuses on the addition of vectors by means of components analytically. It explains how to find the magnitude and direction of the resultant vector. This video contains all of the formulas and equations needed to resolve a vector into its components and to use that in order to find the magnitude and direction angle of the resultant force vector. This video explains how to add 2 and 3 force vectors to get the resultant sum.

Regarding sa 15.08, I think baka hindi kasi naka parenthesis yung negative sign mo. squareroot ( (-7.95)^2 + (-12.81)^2)
or simply alisin mo nlng negative sign magiging positive rn naman.

You can use polygon or component method po, just follow the steps indicated in the video :)
Sa example po na binigay niyo, the answer is ZERO. Kasi parang bumalik na po siya kung saan siya nagsimula, so basically wala po siyang resultant vector.

Hi, yes of course, dapat! If nagawa mo tlaga ng tama lahat. Pero at most cases hindi ganon, kapag graphically kasi may chances na magmakamali sa pagmeasure ng angle or pagmeasure ng length. Kaya possible yan na magkaiba siguro mga decimal places. But if you're asking for the most accurate answer, then pinakaaccurate ang analytical method.
Mas accurate ang component kaysa graphical. Pwede sila magkaiba kahit kunti mga decimal ganon kasi maraming sources or errors ang graphical, either sa bolpen, sa ruler etc.
Sir bakt po minus ang 83 at 12? Hindi ba yon plus?
Angle po kasi sa loob hinahanap natin. So since 83 is the angle hanngang sa labas, then we just need to subtract 12 para makuha natin angle sa loob ng triangle. Ayun, swabe lang

Just want to ask something lang po. I know this one will sound dumb but I really wanna know po. About po sa rounding off sa angle sa Resultant. I know naman po how to round off pero iba po ba pagdating sa Vector? I mean, 'yong dalawang kaklase ko po kasi nagtatalo about doon. The value po is 0.79863 and three decimal places po ang usapan. Well, sa round off po na alam ko, it should be 0.799 po pero 'yong isa po naming classmate, sabi niya po, 0.798 lang po kasi daw ang sunod sa 6 po ay 3. Nalilito po ako kung bakit gano'n? Bakit po hindi sa 6 nag-base? Hope masagot po. Thank you!

Yes, ganon palagi kapag minemeasure mo ang Angle mo from the east. Otherwise pwede yang mag iba kapag hindi na from the east yung pag measure mo.
Maramiing ways actually, depe depende kung saan ka nagmemeasure ng angle. Pero sa solutions ko, I stick to one para mas madali. Same rin lang lahat mga sagot :)

@@charlynaucina7223 Hello depende yun sa situation, basta ang goal mo kasi ay mahanap yung angle sa loob ng triangle. So walang definite na sagot if subtract ba or add.
Take note
Kapag ang axis ay nasa loob ng triangle then add mo dalawang angle
Pag yung axis ay wala sa loob ng triangle then subtract mo
Just analyze it nalang.

Use the graphical method to find the total displacement of a person who walks the following 3 paths on a flat field. First, she walks 25.0 m in a direction of 49.0° north of east. Then, she walks 23.0 m heading 15.0° north of east. Finally, she turns and walks 32.0 m in a direction of 68° south of east.
Hi graphical method, ibig sabihin gagamit ka ng polygon method. Wala kang solution na kailangang gawin, kailangan mo lang silang i plot sa paper accurately and measure the resultant. Hello po I have question.yung 3.4 I'm po ba ay 180° or 90° Kasi may nakalagay due west po. Confused Lang po ako . Saan po mag start magcount ng theta sa due west or east po?

Hi, depende po sa situation. Pag same direction silang lahat then algebraic addition will do kunwari 5m east and 3m west
That is just 5-3=2
Thus 2m is the magnitude with a direction going east
Pero if iba iba na like may angles then you have multiple ways to do it, the examples are presented in the video. Slamat:)

Hi, yes basta measure your angle from the east just as what is shown sa video. Pero kapag mineasure mo ang angle mo from a different point then magiiba na yung kasama ni cos at sin.
So para consistent just measure your angle from the east and fixed nayun na x is cos

Hi, sa method ko palagi kong ginagawa na y over x. Pero it doesnt mean na yun lang ang way.
Kapag y over x yung ginawa then your direction should be y of x rn like North of East
Kapag x over y naman yung ginawa mo then direction is x of y or East of North
Pero for consistency choose 1 method para di ka maguluhan.

Sa analytical method, you dont need those from the word analyze pure solving siya.
Mas accurate ang analytical kaysa polygon. Kasi sa polygon pwedeng magkamali ka sa measurements mo.

Hi! I know your point. And palagi ko yan naiisip kahit anong topics. Minsan napapatanong nalang ako kung anong sense nito? Sa akin lang ha, all of this will make sense kapag nasa college ka na. Kapag meron kanang field of specialization. Kasi lahat ng math ko noong elem and high school are just fundamentals. I took engineering kasi for college. And for example this lesson about vectors are very important sa surveying and gagamitin mo talga siya in real life pag nasa work kana. Unless you wont practice your possession. Kasi kapag nasa last years kana ng college life mo doon na yung mga subjects na kung ano talga ginagawa ng isang engineer sa work like estimates, planning etc. Ayun and hindi naman pwedeng aralin mo yan na wala kang fundamentals dba? Ayaw ko rin ng bookish type, yung memoruze ganon hahaha it does not make sense. Better understand the lesson, someday malalaman mo rin kung bakit mo inaaral.

@@yueguang2166 Hi, Graphical Method has 2 sub methods kasi. Parallelogram tska Polygon. For Parallelogram hindi niyo po icoconect ang B sa A. Start it at the origin. Para makaform kayo ng parallelogram.
Either way naman both methods you should arrive with the same answer.
