She almost retired at one time. If she started her professional career as western players at an early age say 16,17. I am sure she would peak around early twenties in stead at the age of 29. She should have won at least 4-5 grand slam titles, instead only two.
She did start so young but after disagreement with Tennis China , she left to make own path.Afterwords they tried to say thanks to China Tennis she made it but she spoke out and corrected them publicly
I wish the Roland Garros would upload more extended highlights and full matches to their youtube channel like Australian Open does. Thanks for sharing this with us. Loved watching Li Na play.
