Sorry it's taken me so long to figure out. It stumped me for a while, but today, I had a breakthrough. At least on the latest build (6.3.4), the messages are shown in the props layer, so just disable the props layer for any screen in the multiscreen module that you don't want the countdown to be on. Now, why it wasn't labeled "props and messages," I don't know. ;)

How do you add a countdown using multiscreen that only appears on 2 of the screens?
