This new layout is amazing! Iove it! One small suggestion: you could transform the train in a trolley/tram! That would fit perfectly with the street-integrated railway, and you could also add some tram stops here and there!
Hey bricksie just an idea, the hole for where you can work on the different areas the one by the camp grounds you should add minifigures fishing, because just below that is the underwater area
Love it!! One thing though, I’d put one baseplate of water between the beach and the harbor. You could make a dock made of stones leading up to the lighthouse on that plate. That way the lighthouse would become the ‘border’ between the two
Instead of covering the elevated aria with walls why don’t you cover some of them with facades of store faces so it looks like the stores are in the wall. I’m so happy for you with the twins and the changes to the Lego city are brilliant!
Yes great thort 🙂👍I'm adding shop under my train track s cas my train line are up of the ground only in my train Tunnle track s are at ground level cas track.s On the ground take up to much space so now I got space under my train track and it give it diffrent level s. Than just a flat city.
This layout is just incredible ! I love it, modular buildings are more visible and thats good. Also, all of these possibilities of creating... what an awesome city layout
None of it is an eye sore , it is all a work in progress and always will be . What an awful day it would be if everything was done . Love the new position of the zoo and ninja go area .
Love the new layout! Since you are moving the Ferris wheel next to the pole anyway, go one more plate and put it back around the pole where it was. Raise it up a little bit higher and the train can run under the platform. Then you won’t have the wasted space next to the diagonal track.
Liking the new layout. It makes more sense to put the taller buildings against the back wall. Having them in the centre , means they obscure the smaller buildings and dominate that area.
Absolutely phenomenal! Lego City has never looked so good, the modular buildings form up this great downtown with multiple streets. Love pop culture street it's one of my favourite parts of the city. I think the facades could still work if you put them behind the bigger residential buildings. Also the road tunnel that now goes into the ninjagp temple mountain, now there's just empty space behind it you could make the tunnel deeper, give it an extra baseplate of road before the black wall and the illusion of it leading out of the city will be even better!
This is awesome mate, love the changes. A freight train line off shoot to the docks along side the road from around the base of the mountain would be great too! Keep up the good work
I imagine the ramp could go to a level "turnaround" before moving up to the end elevation, much like a mountain road would essentially. Would be pretty neat. If you have the room you could make a resting area (kind of a lookout) before the road pinches down into the one way for the rest of the buildings. That way it is gradual too, and it gives people more incentive to be up there. I always imagine being a minifig and seeing what I want to see from their perspective. Probably silly... But it is what it is!
Love this new layout - been actually looking at city plans because of this ha ha! The positions and areas are spot on, you could do a great job as a mayor of several major cities! Hope you can get some rest dude
Love the new layout. That said, one thing that looks a little underwhelming is the temple on the mountaintop. The large Ninjago building seems to dwarf the mountain and the temple on top.
This is always looking good and fun. Suspended spider man is a nice touch. Do you do anything seasonal in your city? Like, do you put in a MOC giant Christmas tree somewhere in the city during December?
Dude! Loving the new layout, and the channel in general. You are an inspiration. Just a thought on the new layout, If you switch up the beach and the boat docks you could use the height of lighthouse to hide/take focus off of the pole in the basement. Keep up the great work - Dave
The layout looks great! Just be careful with the track it looks like it’s going to clip the pillar! Make sure you move it back one track section so your passenger train can pass through!
Love the city wish I could get my layout to be that extreme, have thought about looking into getting some sort of camera positioned on the under table scenes with a live feed showing on a screen in the areas between the loop coaster and residential areas and congrats on the twins
Bricksie, you could reduce the size of the harbor a bit. That would allow you to extend the main road coming from the Town Hall and avoid the S-curve, which takes away space from your table.
Just an idea... In Korea they have an amusement park called Everland and it is on a hillside with multiple levels and annoyingly strenuous walkways. What about putting park of the amusement park, including the red coaster, on top and others below with a sky tram that can take passengers up and down when they don’t want to walk. You are amazing and have inspired my girls and I to make a 4x8 foot LEGO city which we love and have centered in our family room. What a centerpiece and amazing fun. Thanks for all your efforts.
With some water running down the side of the Ninjago Temple mountain, it can run through the zoo and make a little bridge over it. Then it can join the river in the campground if it's still there 😆
idea for road from table to platform you could just make another tunnel façade and notate there connection through street signs but love to see it thriving
I'm pretty sure I called it, that you wouldn't be able to finish the city in its new layout before making major changes to it again. :P I like the placement of the zoo, though the entrance should probably be facing the street, not a mountainside. I'm not so much a fan of where the residential area is though; I don't think it makes much sense to have light residential buildings in an area that heavily built up. Having houses around a massive retaining wall with a train tunnel through it. Not where I'd want to live. I like that the Simpsons and Home Alone sets are part of Pop-Culture street though, that's good. I think if you make the amusement park more like a square, you could still have the back corner behind it be part of like a downtown area with skyscrapers and such. That would still be awesome! I think the residential section would fit best near the zoo, the campground, kinda quieter places like that. Also maybe the sidewalk in front of a school isn't the best spot for a train to be going through. :P Something I think is important, you should decide specifically what you want to do with the back corners. They're important because they're a large portion of the city's backdrop, and naturally where the eye ends up while looking over the city, so it should be something impressive, I think. For example: behind the amusement park could be some magnificent skyscrapers, and then in the other corner could be the mountain, with its mountaintop temple, and the rest of the Ninjago stuff around the base. I think that it'd be neat to have a focus on more natural areas on the left side of the city. Campground, zoo, beach.. You could even have a much more natural beach, rather than (or just next to) the crowded tourist beach, since you seem to like doing that natural rockwork and stuff. Then gradually build to more urbanized areas until you reach the right side's heart of urban decadence at the amusement park. :P Prediction: You're going to be out of space again before the roads are finished. :P
Wow! I like how pop culture street, downtown/modulars flow together now.🌇 It'll be interesting to see how your residential area comes together too! 🏡 I'm really excited to see the amusement park progress!🎢
You do you're doing a good work you know Rome wasn't felt in a day so don't worry about your city take the time take what you need to do and you know enjoy it I love where you put the zoo. The Ninjago City looks really good up through there
Hey bricksie your world is amazing I would love if I can meet u it would be amazing I wish I had a Lego world like yours it would be my dream to meet u and have a world like yours keep up your good work on your YT channel you make me happy every time U post a new video I wish I had a world like yours good luck on your Lego world if u add more
A couple things: BrickArtisan has an inverted corner modular alternate build of Assembly Square, which it looks like you need. Make sure to add the half-circle driveway in front of Home Alone to be movie accurate. Remember the scene where the pizza delivery guy pulls up and hits the horse jockey statue? That’s the half circle driveway.
I suppose it's a bit late now to suggest it, but I was wondering if those new insets you've added to the tables could be placed on tracks sort of like a silverware drawer is so that you could slide them backward and forward so that you could get them out of the way fast if you needed to walk through the "old notches". This would give you a way to access something fast and would make filming easier. You could also slide those sections over your head after you've sat down on the floor. That would save you the trouble of having to crab crawl under the table.
Hi bricksie I have a suggestion maybe add a gas station down town making it more realistic as a city wouldn’t have one gas station. Also where the movie is you could add a bridge over the train tracks for figures to walk over and Where the zoo is u could add a car pack in the empty base plates and have a person stealing a car
Looks good with the big hols can you not have a removable bit of wood with buildings on them so that when you need to get to the other side of the city you just unclip it and drop it down I hope that makes scence.
This new layout is amazing! Iove it! One small suggestion: you could transform the train in a trolley/tram! That would fit perfectly with the street-integrated railway, and you could also add some tram stops here and there!
that’s a great idea tbf
Hey bricksie just an idea, the hole for where you can work on the different areas the one by the camp grounds you should add minifigures fishing, because just below that is the underwater area
Grate idea!
Cut a hole in the table and make an underground subway part!
The new city layout looks insane the new table extension definitely makes the city look so much better
Love it!! One thing though, I’d put one baseplate of water between the beach and the harbor. You could make a dock made of stones leading up to the lighthouse on that plate. That way the lighthouse would become the ‘border’ between the two
I am so glad that you put everything on mills plates ! It makes it so much easier to more your stuff around !
Maybe you could make more facades like rows of townhouses and apartment buildings for behind the residential area.
New layout looks great. An idea for the Ninjago District - maybe tree facades to give it a forest look, behind Ninjago? It's looking great, man.
I actually love the vision of the new layout. Gives you so many little details to look at
Instead of covering the elevated aria with walls why don’t you cover some of them with facades of store faces so it looks like the stores are in the wall. I’m so happy for you with the twins and the changes to the Lego city are brilliant!

Jordan, looking good…I would turn the Zoo entrance towards the street as it would give be more visible and give more room in you zoo.
This layout is just incredible ! I love it, modular buildings are more visible and thats good.
Also, all of these possibilities of creating... what an awesome city layout

Love it Jordan...best layout ever...I love how the modular biuldings are right upfront and in focus
The new layout is awesome!
It's coming together very nicely!
Liking the new layout. It makes more sense to put the taller buildings against the back wall. Having them in the centre , means they obscure the smaller buildings and dominate that area.
I love the improvements to the city. Lots of space. New ideas. Love it. Keep it up papa bricksie.

If I had to guess where you'd be a year ago with the lego room, this is not at all what I would've guessed the city to look like. Looking great!
This is awesome mate, love the changes. A freight train line off shoot to the docks along side the road from around the base of the mountain would be great too! Keep up the good work

That Beverly Hills Ninja reference made my day, city is looking AMAZING by the way!
I like the new layout it gives you more space to be creative
True
Loves great! I am amazed how much you are getting done with caring for the twins. The first 6 weeks are so hard, you are doing fantastic. :)
This is always looking good and fun. Suspended spider man is a nice touch.
Do you do anything seasonal in your city? Like, do you put in a MOC giant Christmas tree somewhere in the city during December?
I've always said once we get er done I'll change seasons... but I've never finished 😆.
A Christmas tree would be a nice touch tho!
What an amazing layout! At first I was a bit skeptical, but with the modular buildings in the foreground it really looks even better than before 👏👏👏
I like the idea of the burrow in the campground! Love this new layout, seems like more of a city again 🔥
Loving the new layout!
This looks amazing! A huge improvement over the previous layout. I'm very excited to see where things go from here!
Dude! Loving the new layout, and the channel in general. You are an inspiration.
Just a thought on the new layout, If you switch up the beach and the boat docks you could use the height of lighthouse to hide/take focus off of the pole in the basement.
Keep up the great work - Dave
Love the new layout!
The layout looks amazing! But also you should probably take a few days off don’t worry! We won’t run away if you don’t post for a few days
Really like the changes you have made. Looking forward to more updates. Like where the zoo is now.
Really love the city! It looks so cool!
The layout looks great! Just be careful with the track it looks like it’s going to clip the pillar! Make sure you move it back one track section so your passenger train can pass through!
New layout looks amazing!
Love the new layout! Can’t wait to see your final zoo now that it has more space!
It looks like a real city - a busy city!
The new city layout looks really great
Love the city wish I could get my layout to be that extreme, have thought about looking into getting some sort of camera positioned on the under table scenes with a live feed showing on a screen in the areas between the loop coaster and residential areas and congrats on the twins
New layout is great 👏🏼
Great work. You should consider some type of sky paint/wallpaper for the back wall?
Bricksie, you could reduce the size of the harbor a bit. That would allow you to extend the main road coming from the Town Hall and avoid the S-curve, which takes away space from your table.
So glad you put the zoo in the back corner fits perfectly
You give me so much motivation to push my city to the next level! Thanks for bringing us amazing content.
Just an idea... In Korea they have an amusement park called Everland and it is on a hillside with multiple levels and annoyingly strenuous walkways. That layout looks insane so much better than the last one

Keep the facades! But make them themed with the ninjago and town stuff! It adds so much to the city!!!
Awesome work Bricksie! So enjoyable to watch.

A lot of stuffs to do but great job as always. Congrats on having the babies.
A million times better like this. Especially the relocation of the zoo and ninjago District
city is looking great, love the new location of the zoo and Ninjago city. wishing you a great day :)

My back is already feeling for yours
It keeps me young... or ages me faster- one of the two
Love it. Doing a great job considering all the life changes! Keep up the great work!!!
I honestly love the new layout. there is much more space. Keep up the good work👍
I'd like to see a big lake with boats or a larger ship docking area..then I remember there's only so much room lol
I like it, as now the zoo, modulars and residential are where I originally commented they should be.😁
For the town hall it would be cool if u put the delorian if u have it
Question, how are the modular buildings connected to bricks underneath? Since the base plates have no stud holes on the bottom, how?
Hi bricksie I have a suggestion maybe add a gas station down town making it more realistic as a city wouldn’t have one gas station. Also where the movie is you could add a bridge over the train tracks for figures to walk over and Where the zoo is u could add a car pack in the empty base plates and have a person stealing a car
I think the layout looks sick!
I love the lego updates keep up the great work!
The campground sounds like a great place for the burrows, but have you ever considered integrating it somewhere in the medieval scene.
Wow amazing n fresh
Looks absolutely great!
awesome video jordan the new layout is epic i love how the city is coming together great job
Epic!
Enough said really x
So cool! I love your videos!
The mayor of the Lego City probably hates the chaos of Pop Culture Street lol! Congrats on the twins!!
Nice layout by the way
a crazy ideia, how about a transition like lombard street ( san francisco )for the platforms. A lot of work but would be epic, tanks from brazil
The great white ninja! Most excellent, sensei! Apparently that's one of Christian Bale's favourite movies. 🤷
Can’t wait to see it 🙂
I think it would be cool if the graveyard went in the camp ground. It would give it the feel of abandoned in the woods.
You could place your Hogwarts into the back-right corner of the city. Could make it look like it’s far away/part of the amusement park
Much better layout, looking like a proper city again...
Nice one man. Add I like the Ninjago part in that spot you first had it than up the top..but it's your city how U like it to be.
Looking much better with the additional table tops
12:55 you could do that or create a parking garage and integrate a car elevator to get the cars on top of the platform
Hey man, honestly love your lego collection. Was wondering if you could maybe add an Airport which would fit really nicely in the lego city :)
The burrow is perfect for the campground.
liked the video for the beverly hills ninja reference 😂 congrats on the twins, bricksie!
Alright Sally Jones
Would love to see a sports stadium incorporated into the city. Maybe the Nou Camp or Old Trafford set?
You should build a bridge over the train track from the beach/pier area to the university.
Suggestion: when you feel like doing it, do a tour by car with a gopro?
Looks good with the big hols can you not have a removable bit of wood with buildings on them so that when you need to get to the other side of the city you just unclip it and drop it down I hope that makes scence.
You could add the play park to the zoo since zoo normally have a play park in them. Just an idea
