Man I wish sophisticated backpack recipes were enabled. I can't figure out what you did to fix that. My inner loot goblin feels stifled 😂 NVM, searched for quite a while and found the instructions in the Discord. Phew! I bow to the Minecraft modding masters!

How do you make it so you can craft the backpack. I don’t know how to unlock it?
I have a pinned post explaining how to do it in my discord since I have a lot of people asking how. The Cottage Witch discord is also a great place to check as well since they share how to edit the files there and are super lovely about helping people tweak the pack to their liking. :D

so I did a look through about the critters and creatures and found things that could be fun or cute.
-if you find koi fish and get a few, keeping them together gives the player luck
-the dragonflies (can be tamed with spiders eye and be given dragonfly armour) can spawn over rivers, the wings are used to tame jumping spiders. the spiders give you silk for silk leash and silk grappling hook
-the leaf insect dances to music
-if you find a dumbo octopus you can put them in a bucket, when the player is drowning the octopus gives you a bubble helmet
-finally the sea bunny can be picked up by bucket, using a bottle on them, you can collect slime for sea bunny slime blocks.
I don't know if anything has changed. there are so many cute and adorable things about this mod, naming my favourites is almost impossible

You just taught me something new about sea bunnies! There’s a player-maintained searchable spreadsheet in the cottage witch discord where you can learn about where they spawn, what’s they do, how/if they breed, how to tame, what you can make of them etc. it’s a work in progress but it’s great because it covers EVERY mob in cottage witch specifically 🥰

Yaaaay you ate the jelly :3 it doesn't hurt you or give any buffs or bad effects, it's purely cosmetic~ The only way to take off the effect though is by using a sponge (hold it, look up and don't look at anything you can interact with, and just use the sponge).
Cute little story in regards to the dragonfly comments you made, back in high school-so like before 2007, I used to have this tiny camera I brought with me anywhere I went, I'm an artist, so I loved taking photos of anything cute, pretty and artistic looking. One day, I came across a dragon fly that landed on one of those long thin leaves that grow from the ground, and idk how, but when I took my camera out to snap photos of it, it's like.. it knew what I was doing and started posing for me, it was absolutely cute 😭

I'm scared of bugs like bad, but that photo moment with the dragon fly made me love them--dragon fly's I mean XD cause I'm still scared of any and every other bugs lmao ♥

From my own experiences, I've found tarot cards more often in Cleric buildings in villages~! Other than that I have no clue 😭

My cashier thought I might be losing my mind to the full moon because I burst out laughing so loud at the statement that 3 backpacks would be enough for Creo's looteryness. Knowing darned well that she will need at least twice as many to keep the teleporting to a minimum.

Thank you for creating such fun/immersive structures to explore because I absolutely love exploring and looting..you guys did an amazing job with that mod and I can't wait to show off the bigger ones in coming episodes. Yeah that bee house is gorgeous, the first time I saw it I was in awe so I don't blame you for living there lol.

We are like minded in that we love to loot and explore cool buildings. It's a driving factor for what we do and we love it.
We are currently working on an integrated villagers mod. The whole team is designing their own village and bringing it all together to make for a fun experience for players. I'm tasked with creating a hobbit village, which is going well.
They really did an amazing job with this modpack. It's super fun and it has some of my favourite deco mods in it. Like beautify.
Those hanging pots are so nice for decorating porches and entrances etc.
@@howester8446 Yess I LOVE beautify, I always add it in other packs if I can. I adore that you guys are so like minded that way because it shows you really have a love and passion for what you do and it's the exact type of creation that I love supporting.

I play on a server with the cottage witch pack and I have 3 witches cauldrons. one with the blood sigil in it, one with a magma stone under it for a heat source, and the last one is just normal with water in it. you can remove none full buckets with bottles, but if it is lava, the bottle will deteriorate very quickly and you will still lose the extra lava.
Check the quest “meet the jumping spider” in the wildlife page of the quest book. Meeting the spider, like with most mobs, will unlock a quest that offers you some of whatever is used to tame that mob. It also explains how to get dragonfly wings! (The short of it is, insect gate pearls used indoors are a great way to get dragonfly wings)
Edit 1: you’d be surprised what other things the rainbow jelly works on…
Edit 2: check out the peeled melon blocks. Probably the closest to horror this modpack gets- especially because they… drip.

If you have the Chipped mod you should be able to make multiple variations of the bookshelves in each of the wood colors. I'm not sure if they still work for enchanting, but it could at least give you some decorating options. I know there are also add-ons to the mod to add more wood types from different mods.

Sadly reason why some stuff gets nerfed in terms of structures is cause of performance issues or if something is concerningly broken or from griefing issues in servers. Example: dev for prominence (Elocin) had to remove a furniture mod due to people using it to grief claims enough to be able to steal from them or put some really bad stuff. We were heartbroken finding out it was the cause 😭 (LPS Admin)
I tried to make my comment about Lunapixel sound silly and light hearted because I totally get why you guys did it....I wanted to poke a bit of fun anyways. lol
Sadly there will always be those morons around that have to ruin stuff for everyone else but keep doing what you guys do because the rest of us appreciate it.
@@Creothina Yeah I totally got it to be a joke! It totally hurts when stuff like that has happened for sure, on players, devs, and staff cause we love the chaos just as much as others, I groaned and laughed with you from my own experiences since it seems to be so commonly needed in modded nowadays!

I'm glad you got the reasoning behind the comment though...I've always made a point to mention how hard devs work (for free at that) and they have their reasoning for doing things but I like to poke a little fun at them once in a while too. xD
It came be a tough balance! For our 1.20.1 modpack we are working on, we’ve added so many structures and we WANT lots of structures, but not as close together as they can sometimes be found. We got a mod that can spread them further out, but so many of the structure mods we added contained dozens of… vaguely useless builds, which are disappointing to come across when you find the rare structure. So we actually sat down and checked every single structure in the pack, sorted them into “worth keeping” and “not worth keeping” to make the experiencing of finding structures overall more rewarding and special.
