I understand the title needs a clickbait title like "Kyle GRILLS candidate"
But this was actually a civil discussion that allowed questions and answers to be asked and answered. Occasional push back done respectfully, There was no interrupting or shouting over each other. It was refreshing.

      #FBI stop deleting my comments.
Liberal and libertarian not being the same definition is a cult brainwashing sign.
A cult is self-destructing harm. They are spreading their own ignorance. A person can't be a libertarian, only a government can. A government run by liberals. The suffix "Ian" adds a second person pretence. "I am Union" is bad grammar, but "I am a union member" would be the correct use of this second person pretence.
There are two dimensional political spectrums out there. With left and right being the individual people, and up and down being the "Ian" government.

    • @noel7777noel
      @noel7777noel 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

Why would a liberal (individual) person not support a libertarian state of government?
Why is liberal and libertarian not the same definition?
The suffix "Ian"does bring a second person pretence to the root word liberal. But how is a single person different from a liberal state of a government?

@@noel7777noel A libertarian is a lot more appealing than a republican but libertarians and liberals only agree on some policies. Libertarians are liberals in social policies(individual liberties) and conservatives in economic policies. You can see an example of this in the exchange between Oliver and Kyle. Kyle's gun policies are liberal, with universal background checks, red flag laws, and a band of high-end guns/most powerful guns. Chase has a closer republican point of view, with no gun restriction but seeks to provide mental health. but you can also see them both agree on trans policies and to a degree drug policies.

This is already happening too. we are already down to so few railroads, News networks, grocery stores, and oil companies. Deregulation would be the final nail in the coffin for many smaller companies in most industries. It’s almost easier to list the industries with competition that would be able to survive. I honestly feel like this is the biggest threat to our country right now. I don’t think Christian fascism would be popular enough outside of the deep south to be a long term threat. Libertarians aren’t exactly a bastion of logic and historical materialist analysis… especially since most of them believe in Austrian economics.
Just as a quick reminder, Austrian economists believe in a complete deregulation of the economy aka “a free free market” and they tried to rebuke Marx’s Labour Theory of Value with something called The Subjective Theory of Value which essentially claims mathematical models are useless in economics because humans are “too complex” and then goes on to explain nothing of substance beyond “let the market decide all values because all values are subjective” while obviously misinterpreting LTV and masterfully ignoring each and any criticisms against markets and capital dominance.
Like… you don’t need a commie to tell you Austrian economists are wrong, most other economists agree, even neoliberal or Keynesian ones.

They usually say yes that’s how they want it, but that would go for surgeons and other medics and pharma, tattoo facilities, restaurants (safety inspections), food factories, farms and sla>$&ter houses, hair and nail salons, etc. History has shown us that the for profit model causes money incentive to interfere with best practices when it comes to the interests of other stakeholders and causes externalities. These protests, initiated by university students, aim to seek a fairer, more merit-based recruitment process and have called for reforms to the quota system. Unfortunately, these peaceful demonstrations have been met with brutal force.
The government, law enforcement agencies, and student wing of ruling party aka Chhatro League have responded with excessive violence, including shooting, beatings, arrests, and intimidation. The situation has reached a critical point, with students being targeted on the streets and apartments of Dhaka and within university campuses. We have received credible reports of deaths among the protestors, although the exact numbers cannot be verified due to a media blackout imposed by the authorities. Likewise, Americans frequently crossed the border to spend their dollars at the border towns, which helped their economy. The inexpensive goods they purchased there were then brought back to the United States and sold for a profit in San Antonio and other Texas towns. @TheMosayat This is a free country right... Everyone can have their own sense of humor. Just because you are framing it like what you say it is does not mean I meant it that way. This is exactly the type of framing the very left make. Context is a thing right? The reason thought it was funny is because his policies is not normal for a libertarian to have. I like them even though they are not the standard libertarian perspective idiot.

Any sentence that starts out with "Kyle GRILLS..." is instantly the funniest sentence ever composed. All this hackery and still no MSNBC contract. So sad. I guess his multi-million dollar net worth is enough compensation for selling out. But it must suck to still not have that establishment credibility, to still be viewed as the goofy guy with the glorified reaction channel.

Do I really have to remind people of what companies "used" to do before we had regulations?
Child labor, living at the workplace, really long working hours, minimalist wages; sometimes in vouchers which you can only use at company stores, no protections, no benefits, monopoly wherever possible, no environmental protections, corruption, fixing pirices, bad product ingredients,...
just from the top of my head.

If you're just learning about "libertarianism," then you need to know that the libertarian-concept in historical-practice has NOT been the same as the Libertarian-party in modern-practice. The Libertarian-party is bought, owned, bribed, & controlled by the same corrupt wealthy-class, with their corrupt RW-politics, as the Repub&Dem parties.
Libertarians, Repubs&Dems, ALL espouse a small government, and they view the libertarian-concept to mean the inequitable "freedom TO oppress others" and NOT the equitable "freedom FROM oppression by others."
If the government isn't strong enough to ensure "freedom FROM oppression," then the biggest, strongest, and most vile&violent people would impose their "freedom TO oppress" the smallest, weakest, kindest & most-vulnerable people (instead of just having the people from the wealthy-class oppressing the people of the working-class, like we have now).
The people in the modern Libertarian-party advocate for small government and the individual freedom TO oppress others.
The people for the historical libertarian-concept advocate for a government that is big enough to protect the weakest&poorest individual's freedom FROM oppression by the strongest&wealthiest.
The Libertarian-party was literally started by some corrupt billionaires from the wealthy-class, because the Repubs&Dems weren't shrinking & destroying the government fast enough for them & their corrupt RW-politics.
Don't be fooled -- the political-Libertarians of the present are NOT the conceptual-libertarians of the past.
And when push-come-to-shove, the working-class dupes in the Libertarian-party will do whatever their masters in the wealthy-class tell them to do.
